  • Focus peaking is a feature that helps you to achieve sharp focus in your recordings. It highlights the parts of the image that are in focus with a selected color. You can adjust the color and width of the focus peaking indicators in the settings menu of your Atomos Shinobi monitor. For more information, you can check out this [article](^1^) from the official Atomos support site. 😊

Thanks SO MUCH for this quick and easy explanation of how to turn this feature on! And +1 for you having a Lumix camera as well. I shot a music festival today with the Shinobi and the GH6, and was annoyed AF that I couldn't get the focus peaking to show on the external monitor, so I had to keep opening up the flip screen to see what was properly in focus. Won't have to do that at tomorrow's show now tho! 😁 You've just gained a new sub out of me too.

This Shinobi focus feature is great, indeed. I can strongly recommend the SmallRig sun hood for the Shinobi - it's really great for outdoor shootings.
