I think being able to gift several items to has to do with what level of friendship u have with them. So as your friendship progresses with a character tou can get and give more gifts
Hiii What a great video and I love your channel! To answer your question here you need to be Good Friends with your characters before you can gift them multiple things but it's not super clear to figure that one out ^^
I saw a video that was telling people you can play as little as you want without logging in everyday; that it was a chill game. I checked the subreddit cause my antennas were going off and found players who got the game thinking the same only to realise it wasn't true. Plus the comment from the one of the people involved in the game, saying they wanted collecting clothes to be a status symbol and that's why they didn't want new players to catch up as easy, put me off a lil.
You have become my favorite cozy game reviewer after having purchased several games due to incomplete, based or sponsored reviews from other creators. Great job, stay honest
Played this when it first came out and I had a free trial of Apple Arcade. I was so excited to see it coming onto consoles. I got mine for the steam deck as opposed to Nintendo switch hoping for better performance. I’ll be trying it out later so we’ll see 🤞🏻
I hate real life time games cos I have a life. The only reason I have so many hours in ACNH was because I could timeskip, but you can't do it here or it'll break your save file...
it's a shame that it's 1. a daily game and 2. the same price as a hefty game like BG3 (if you don't want to be behind everyone else). there's something sinister about it that i just don't trust. i bet i would have fun with it for a while, but i struggle to do dailies for very long and prefer to play at my own pace (which is more like 8 hours some days and 0 hours others). it would be worth it for me at like, $10 regular game, maybe $20 deluxe which still feels overpriced but worth it. anyway thanks for your review miss bubbles i always love the things you point out that others don't!
I'm mad because I have been playing for over a YEAR and I didn't want to pay for it monthly anymore but I would have to start from the very beginning...Also a heads up for new players: the beginning is easy, but it does get to a point where it is a proper grind for materials, I have been playing for over a year and still didn't get all villagers etc.
Just a quick fiy: you are not locked to gifting one things at a time. Eventually when you have more friendship with the characters you can gift multiple things at a time. I think the idea behind that is that when you first start, in theory you don’t have a lot of resources and therefore not a lot of things to gift? Not sure but just know it gets better for that
I played on Apple Arcade and I loved it. Canceled my subscription awhile back and waited for the game to come to switch. Since I played they added horsies and bunnies! I want to have a horse/pony character.
Thanks for the review! I am considering getting the deluxe version along with Switch 2 but this video has so many helpful tips, thank you so much! ❤ I want to add I'm getting the Switch 2 in hopes that the extra power will help reduce lag for many games I play, and I hope it will benefit Hello Kitty Island adventure as well.
As always, thanks so much for the video and your opinion. I have a hard time with games that want you play everyday. Plus not sure about the price point on this one. I'll wait for a sale before I join in on the fun.
My question is, can we aquire the Deluxe Edition items in game? or can those items offered in the Deluxe Edition only be aquired if we buy the Deluxe Edition?
Aww, it'll be a pass for me. I haven't got time for another game that requires daily play. I'm already struggling with Infinity Nikki. Maybe in the future though!
Hello! Been playing HKIA in Apple Arcade since day one. To move in a visitor you have to put the furniture and things they are asking for into a cabin and then wait. If the cabin fits the requirements they might visit the island the next day. If you want to increase the chances of them appearing you can put in the cabin items that have the same icon as the visitors likes icon. If you want them to stay permanently you’ll need them to visit five times and complete the requests they make when they visit. That’s weird that on Switch they have it that you can only gift or craft one at a time. But if I understand correctly the Switch version is very behind the Apple Arcade version so it might be that that quality of life feature hasnt been added in the current build.
Thank you! So Daniel has visited me three times but I don't get any requests from him. He just gives me apple pie every time and leaves. Am I missing something?
any insights on how big the game files size are? i know it listed as 2,3GBs, but was worried there might be more updates and the final size might be like 10GBs or something
Yay!! Ive been waiting to watch this from you! 🥰💖 Your character you created is the cutest ever!!!!!!!!!!! 🧡 Oh dear. The camera thing might be a deal breaker! I’m so sad!! I like to be able to control the camera and the top down view sometimes and the fast changes in camera angles, does not look fun …but I everything else I LOVE!
I had a trial for Apple Arcade and loved this game but had a hard time playing daily, and I use my phone/ipad every day without fail and still struggle with infinity Nikki so don’t think I can do the daily play :(
The characters are really cute and I'd love to design my own little sanrio character! But the gameplay seems to be too much for me. Maybe I'll pick it up during a sale in the future, but not sure. There are many other great games out there as well.
I doubt that your save files will be damaged if you skip a day or a week/month, cuz most players cannot play daily. So just imagine those massive hate reviews. What developers ment by time travelling is probably purposefully changing your time to the next or previous day (and then returning it to normal). This can break your save files. Not skipping a day.
I'm not 100% sure if that's the case here, though. Almost every game like this that has time-based events has issues with trying to cheat the system ,even going as far back as the anti-cheat mechanism put into Pokemon Emerald that would actually disable any in-game time-based events from triggering if the cartridge detected any odd time changes (it was baked into the save file of the code, really interesting stuff), so I wouldn't put it past the devs to program some sort of anti-cheat system.
I played yesterday when it was released (I am on leave at the moment) however I think it will annoy me after a while given I wont have time to play it when I am back at work I will miss out on the daily quests and daily items - the game is fun but not as relaxed as some similar games. The puzzles are fun tho
Thank you for the good and bad it looks cute but given what you've said I won't be getting it. I'll stick to Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. I might get it when I get the Switch 2 and have more time and have more time and money. After all, I bought myself a Swich just for Animal Crossing. So I've had it for four years and a couple days come March.
i want to get this game as basically a replacement option of disney dreamlight valley which is so buggy and desperately wants my real life money at every turn
@@pinkstressanother video I saw where someone played on apple said not to because they know people who’s games have been completely locked out of all events forever since they tried to, so basically no new items :/
Unfortunetly I can't trust cozy gamer reviews of this game. I did some searching into the game and found out the devs are Blizzard level awful. There proof that "cozy gamers" are being paid to positive review the game and hype people up to buy it. This comment will probably disappear but let's see. -The Deluxe Edition is a scam. All the items and perks you get it are locked. You have to do extended missions to unlock them or reach requirements to get certain things. They don't tell you that all the deluxe items can be gotten in game for free during said yearly events. -The devs want to turn future updates into paid DLC. They mentioned it in the discord but then deleted it. They won't answer if they changed their minds or not. They wanted to create a class system in the game to create FOMO so more people unaware of the issues with the apple arcade version and the devs would spend $60. This created a massive backlash with the fanbase of the AA version. -The devs are notorious for silencing people who ask questions or point out bugs in the game. Even if you file a legit bug report it's ignored. One dev tried to ban players who were discussing a flower color accusing them of data mining when the color has been available in game since launch. Devs are also known to pressure reviewers or players not to publicly speak about the game outside of their discord. Mostly trying to prevent anyone from finding out the issues or flaws. -Time traveling is actually designed to brick your game. There is no reason in 2025 doing this would disable multiplayer and prevent the respawn of resources. It's done to make sure people log in daily. -You have to play daily. If you miss more than 2 days you're fully locked out of events and have to wait a full year. Certain events require certain items. Not having those items locks you out of events. Once you've gathered all materials and finished the set amount of missions for a day the game is pointless until everything resets the next day. -The game is pretty linear. Other than the player house and guest cabins or plalyer customization everyone's experiences with the game is the same. There is no uniqueness like ACNL or other cozy games where you have more control to make things fit your liking.

Honestly, yes, a lot of those point are unfortunately valid... Do I agree that a lot of these practices have no place in modern games? Yes, I do, but this isn't a new release. It's a stand-alone bundle of everything currently released for the iOS version of a mobile game released nearly 2 years ago. It's a way for new players to pick up the game and play the already available content in one easy-to-buy package. A lot of these points were talked about and covered in the live-stream she did alongside this video, which I highly suggest you watch if you're not 100% sold on the idea of buying this, and nobody is forcing you to play it either. Pretty uncool to post an essay about the mistrust on a video and accuse the creator of shilling for it just because their opinion doesn't match yours. This isn't an attack on you, by the way, everyone is entitled to their opinions, rather an opportunity for discourse and I hope you can understand that.
