I learned a LONG time ago that "people aren't always going to like you!!" I too, was a "people pleaser" and in return I was lied to, cheated on, turned away from by people believing lies about me, and taken advantage of!! As a result, I became angry, bitter and very negative!! I ended up walking around with an angry "dog face" all the time and it took me realizing "I" was the one I was angry, bitter and negative towards because "I" allowed myself to be put into these situations!! And once I heard about this quote, I learned not to give a damn about what others thought of me but more importantly, what I thought and believed about myself!! I've been happier ever since while those same people are still miserable!! It's all about having perspective, taking accountability for YOUR part, doing better and becoming a better person for it!!❤️🥰🙏🏼
I always say be selfish and say the things you want to say in every situation. If you dont say what you feel than you're not living the life you want to live.
I blame it on me being introverted and not knowing what to say or when in a conflict not knowing how to respond back for lack of fast thoughts' prefer to not confront to avoid looking like a fool.
How ever I train my mind and body to like an mma fighter yet would never hurt a person unless it was self defense.
I hate being introverted- makes me seem like a week person people can pick on 😔
My brother u r not alone, i was a very social as a kid very talkative and i could make friends very fast. But now I'm not even able to introduce myself without putting everything together first. I think we really care about the feeling of others getting hurt by words because we know how bad it hurts and most of the time we don't respond badly because we lay more towards the moral. But it's very possible to create an armor for the mind and never get hurt again. My brother i can recommend you David Goggins, go watch his videos it really helped me. I ran last time for 3 hours nonstop because of his ideas and mind tactics. His book Can't Hurt me, is another master piece one can benefit from very much. Stay hard brother! Nobody is gonna help you and me other than ourselves.

Needed to hear this. I'm a very nice guy but definitely not a push over.
Background music adds to the message, and induces more emotions while listening to it, which really makes it more inspirational and enjoyable. People who don't like it are really very few. Trust me.
Music is fine....but it's TOO loud.... it drowns out his voice.... and I LOVE....LOVE DR. PETERSON... he is brilliant and filled with wisdom.... I need to hear his message with softer music in the background.

I am in this situation and I feel so trap, I always want good for people around me and in the shame time I take my self down and down. I feel so conflict with my self. Everytime they show me disrespect to me. I feel I no longer want to move out from their circle but I feel so trap and numb I have not strength to do that. I feel I make them disappointed while they already made me disappointed 😞
