Just back to the game after ~15 years out, so going into retail is a complete re-learning curve, watching each section a few times slowly will definately help here as I'd like to get a few classes up there in the higher levels in a relatviely quick time to then see what works for me, so thankyou! :)
wow, 15 year break, you are basically playing a completely different game :D I always take a break 1-2 years and i still feel lost when coming back. But thats mostly because of addons, the game is not very playable without like 15 addons. Unless you want to do casual content like fishing, herbalism and story, then you dont need any

Hey Danta! I just wanted to say thanks for this guide. I'm just coming back to WoW after a long way away. I managed to hit 70 after about 16 hours played following this method. I didn't really push it or rush or anything, I approached things very casually. I really loved questing in Shadowmoon Valley. Garrisons are so flippin' convenient! I intend to go back and finish the WoD content and build that Auctioneer and all level up my castle. I'll probably do it all again on the Horde side, too. Leveled a Survival Hunter too, so it's pretty darn quick even w/o being a Tank/Heals player. Really appreciate this content man. Sub'd.
Thanks dude that's great to hear :) WoD has some of the best storylines so yeah you should absolutely finish all the WoD content! If you're going to do it on horde too you will have different quests as well but to be honest I like Shadowmoon valley more as a zone than Frostfire ridge which is where the horde starts haha.
oof... 16 hours :/ that is awfully long ... try Harldans guide instead. he has the world record for fastest level 1 to 70 he has a guide he says if you do it optimized enough can get you to 60 in just over 3 hours

It is so freaking fast and u get a lot of stuff to sell on the auctionhouse. and remember, the Classicworld is so damn big there are endless Raremobs and so much chests! give it a try
For those questgiving mobs on Gorgond: They are absolutely easy to kill, even without the shredder. Killed them on almost all klasses except of rogue (as I never really got into rogues lol) 1. Dont stand in the fire - That simple principle should be basic knowledge by that point. 2. Dont be intimidated by their splashy effects: The waves from Biolante can be ignored, those splashes from the Hydra can be ignored, the mushrooms from the Fungal Pretorian can be ignored. They look intimidating and in first look it seems that you now have to avoid all of that stuff but just keep working your skills - Those effects are not harmful enough to even bother. 3. Watch out for certain abilities which are indeed dangerous. Every mob (except Fungal Pretorian) has that one ability that can chip away your hp quite easily if you dont go out of your way. So watch out for ground effects or when that mob begins to spit fire or something. Charwing has a firebreath that does good damage and slows you down, Biolante has the trailing breath that can do insane damage, many other of those mobs make ground effects for you to avoid. All of those mobs are easily soloable if you simply follow those rules. It is not necessary to kill those mobs, but as they return the same amount of exp like doing a usual kill quest I take them anyway as they are pretty much only a test of patience. They have big health pools but once you have figured them out they are nothing more than just your average mob only that they dont die after 3 hits.
