It does not have whistle
The cooker lid comes out as soon as it has collected some steam.. is it normal ??

You should not close the lid tightly just keep it don’t press it tight down

How many whistle mam, or how to find whether idly is well steam cooked or not
After 10-12 minutes you can check by putting a fork or spoon inside Idli if it’s not sticking then Idli is cooked

The lid opening is very difficult. You have to apply lot of effort to open it.
That’s because of steam don’t place it tightly just keep it little loosely

No it’s not thick as a normal pressure cooker
We can boil potatoes but it takes little more time
But it cannot be completely used as normal cooker
