    Judge's favoritism was obvious from the very beginning! The defendant even had to remind the judge that she needs to give a background of how she knew the plaintiff.

      well the way she told him was not wise , she was tellin him how to do his show and luckily for her he was nice about it and let her continue because at first she was gonna try to give her side of the story first and the judge had to stop her and tell her the plaintiffs go first so then she played it off by switching up the conversation and personally i dont like how she tried to be controlling and did that but i think she lost because she was simply wrong not to pay the man for his labor and the judge got it right .

    I believe the defendant. He gave her a low price because he knew he didn’t know what he was doing. I believe he left work unfinished and that’s why she didn’t pay. He went out of his way to leave a message on her Facebook and put a lien on her home out of anger and spite. He could have sold the debt to a collection agency just as easily as he went to court. Judge Mathis was undoubtedly biased in this case because the plaintiff commented on the defendant's Facebook page regarding a personal matter even though the two were not Facebook friends. This is clearly harassment.

    Ive read all the comments and one thing I do understand about court is no matter what the evidenced, the judge can choose whatever he wants to. That's why they say "this is my courtroom and I can do what I want", they can and they do. YOu can appeal the judge's decision but WHILE your appealing the judgment that was made the Original Judgment Stands. Being in the courtroom with no opinion and no bias is a hell of a place to be, and detailed thought process to have.

    • @TiaEggleston3
      @TiaEggleston3 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@kerrywhite5253 yup unless the outstanding amount is settled which is probably why they went to court. Liens are public record and not a good look

    • @sasbridgecloserstudent
      @sasbridgecloserstudent 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@TiaEggleston3 In my opinion, I think that is extreme. Why not just bring her to court before putting a lien on her home? His right to do, but odd for someone who seems to know the defendant outside of business. And at the end of the case, he showed that it was more out of a quick reaction than a well thought out plan.
