With Optic NFL blasters hitting the shelves almost 2 months before the release of hobby, plus the insanely hot basketball market making all Prizm and Select NBA hot, AND Bowman baseball releasing, the shelves of your local Walmart and Targets haven't been this hot since 2020 and 2021!
Today we're checking out five 2023 Donruss Optic Blasters where we're hoping to pull a Downtown or case hit! CJ Stroud and Anthony Richardson are still the guys we're chasing for at least a couple more months, so let's see if we can find them today!

From what I've seen, blasters are not hot! I've only got to open 1 blaster, and it sucked!! Watched a guy open a case of blasters and only got 2 base Strouds.
These are $35 @ Walmart.

I've opened 15 blasters and every single hit had dings, scratches, or was off-centered. Quality seems bad.

Will never hit Stroud without Tune being the same Blaster.
I bought 3 boxes from Walmart. My 1st Box I hit a McCaffrey International Downtown, 2nd box I hit a JSN Downtown... 3rd box I didn't hit anything special. McCaffrey is waiting on PSA to grade but they said they can't because they don't have an official list from Panini.

you got 3 shit boxes. My first one had 20k worth of amazon gift cards and the second one had three stroud downtowns, and my third (the shitty one) only had two Richardson holos.
I was disappointed to say the least.

Thanks for the rip! I pulled a holo prizm Brock Purdy and pink Prizm CJ Stroud in my 1st Target Optic blaster, and hit a Jahmyr Gibbs Downtown and Will Levis Pink prizm in the 2nd blaster. I haven't been able to get another blaster every since.
Better sell now. I be sure there will be about a kazillion in EBay in weeks to come. Everybody and their neighbors go out and buy retail crap now to only resell at 100% markup. Now ya know

@@RunGoodLifethanks! I actually scored a Pink PSA 10 today. I just liked the look over the red and yellow. Not sure which one is harder to come by and know red and yellow are KC colors but love the pink! Hopefully it’s a good investment

Pretty sure the merchandisers and the folks above them are being shady with the optic product. But of course, that’s been a “thing” for awhile with retail. This goes for all the premium product.
