Great reaction guys...nice to see TNAE on this channel and for introducing you to likely one of the few master vocalists on this planet. She is 18 now and is releasing new music, currently working with multi Grammy winning songwriter/musician/producer Toby Gad, writhing new songs (Bad Valentine) just released on YT yesterday and she is re-made Toby Gad's and BC Jeans hit song "If I Were A Boy" (Beyonce covered it in 2008) with two different versions, one in a Cathedral in London (Stunning) and one of her walking the streets of London, two different sound tracks, both are incredible. Thanks for reacting to our Angel. Hope to see more. Angelina's fan base is several several million strong, love to see people discover her. Cheers.
Nice reaction. She originally sang this song on AGT Champions at the age of 13. She got high praise, a golden buzzer and Queen gave her the copyright to her version of the song. Her manager, her uncle Mike refused to sign a contract for her AGT appearances that included her having to sign up with Simon's record label, so the Golden buzzer video was taken down and is much harder to find. She eventually signed with Republic Records at the age of 14 and they gave her her own studio. I think she's the best singer ever, certainly an amazing God given talent who was singing in the crib at the age of one and a half. Below is more of her history and links to songs that I believe you would really enjoy. I look forward to more of your reactions. AJ sings to share her interpretation of a song with you, not to show off her voice. She just turned 18 this past January 10th. Her singing career began in the studio at age 6. She auditioned for Norways Got Talent at age 7, winning the competition after turning 8. She does all the vocal arrangements herself, even when she was a little kid. The musicians she has worked with over the years have always called her the boss. By age 6 she spoke Norwegian, Farsi, (her grandmother's Persian), and English and speaks several other languages. She plays piano, guitar, flute and violin. She has done over 200 covers and many originals, couple of EPs, latest EP Old Enough is all original songs. Her parents have held the music industry at bay for years ensuring that she has a normal childhood and finishes school first. Part of the Republic Records deal reportedly being that they're not allowed to promote her like their other new artists, I think, until she's 18. Or until she gets out of school, which could mean high-school or college. I believe she is enrolling in an art school now that she's finished high-school. She did two shows at Westgate Las Vegas this past February 29th, with lots of fan recorded videos out there, unfortunately not always the best quality. Her grandmother first exposed her to jazz and she starting searching you tube videos when she was three. At 6 she first started working in the studio in an after school program. Here's a link to one of the song she recorded there. I Who Have Nothing. Turn on the captions and watch all the way to the end where they discuss how it went. th-cam.com/video/RjQZKBpVaes/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ao3nLyBB7Ns7XQuL Age 7/8: All performances on Norways Got Talent. Brandon, very good choice to involve other reactors and spread awareness of Angelina's wonderful story and excellent work, thank you. This girl has an absolutely unique talent and taste and she is not afraid of anything, regardless of her age there are no impossible songs for her, she will always find a way to transform them with her extraordinary musical intelligence. Angelina's musical vision transcends the ordinary and she always manages to give an interpretive reading that gives another vision of songs, in any genre. She truly has musical knowledge and analytical ability that is beyond my comprehension. 💛🧡❤
You ought to see/hear her now at 18. She's my favorite vocal artist of my lifetime. Liked & subed for more Angelina reactions. I subed to Brandon's channel when he first discovered her a few years ago.
"Welcome to the wonderful world of Angelina Jordan!" You have no idea what lies ahead for you if you decide to go on her journey and join all of us from around the world.
Brandon, I remember you. Great you are sharing our Barefoot Princess. We need more of that. Tell Nick to expect a tsunami when the Angels find him. Angelina Just dropped her Official Music Video of 'If I Were a Boy' The Piano Diaries by Toby Gad. He co wrote this song with B C Jean and it was made famous by Beyonce in 2008. Toby is working on a reimagining of 9 of his most famous hits and he chose Angelina for this 'reimagination' of this song. Her second performance released on her Official Channel dropped yesterday again on her Official Channel. They are currently working together on several more songs one of which she performed with her 1st performance of this song at a local nightspot in LA where she also performed this unreleased single called 'Bad Valentine which should be dropping in the next few month. There are also suggestions that they are actually collaborating on Angelina's New Album. Fingers crossed. We are hoping that will soon follow. Toby Gad world renowned mllti-Grammy winning songwriter and producer from Germany. I believe we are 'finally' at the precipice of Angelina's introduction to the World Stage and doing it with the power, class and emotion that only Angelina can bring. It is happening right in front of our eyes in real time and I could not be more excited. 😊♥👣
Heidi gave her the Golden Buzzer. This was her Arrangement as always and the Band Queen gave her a shoutout and the Copyright to her performance. Welcome to the birth of a legend. Here’s a little background info on Angelina. “When I sing I go to another world. The world is endless. It's like, full of happiness. I love it. It's amazing. And when I am on stage, I don't want to go [leave the stage]. [laughing]. I just want to be on stage" A snippet of Skaylan’s interview of Angelina Jordan (age 12) on Norwegian TV - November 2018. ♥👣👸🏻🎷 A great video to introduce Angelina’s family, When you react to Bohemian Rhapsody take notice during her performance they highlight audience members in the front row. That is Angelina's Family. From left to right Her uncle and manager Michael Astar, her little sister Juliette, her mother Sarah Astar and her grandmother Mery Zamani. Notice her little sister crossing her fingers as the performance starts. Later her mother wiped tears from her eyes and then again crosses her fingers before Howie speaks.. Also remember she said she had waited 10 years to sing for Simon. When she was 3 years old she was begging her mother to go on 'that Simon show'. ♥👣👸🏻🎷
Hers was the arrangement of the song, hers and her grandmother's the design of the dress she was wearing. The remaining QUEEN members impressed by Angelina's cover released the copyright to her original version. You've just met the one who will most likely be the greatest singer of the coming decades.
Great reaction you two. I love that you explained why Angelina sings without shoes. So may millions of people have seen this AGT performance from Angelina but very few have actually seen the show’s brief interview of Angelina leading up to Angelina’s performance. Angelina was the last performer on the show that evening (I saw the show in real time back in March of 2020). Here’s a link to the interview. In it Angelina tells of her encounter with “Princess” the little orphan girl she met when she was six. It’s amazing to here Angelina tell the story herself: m.th-cam.com/video/t4LsdNMX_-0/w-d-xo.html
The encounter was so significant in Angelina’s early life that when she turned nine, she wrote a book about it (illustrated by her Grandma, the Iranian artist Mery Zamani). The publication of this book made Angelina the youngest author in Norway’s history. This past February Angelina performed two back-to-back concerts in Las Vegas. Angelina introduced a brand new song at those concerts called “Princess of Ruins.” It repeats the story of Angelina’s encounter with Princess musically. Here’s a link to a wonderful video of one of the two performances that evening (*DEFINITELY* worth reacting to)… “Princess of Ruins” m.th-cam.com/video/DAiINEfKo_0/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUiYW5nZWxpbmEgam9yZGFuIHByaW5jZXNzIG9mIHJ1aW5zIA%3D%3D
Brian May and Queen were so impressed , they gave her the copywrite to her rendition of the song. This was a few days before her 14th birthday, her b-day is Jan 10, she is 18 today. Please do check out the cover of "I Put A Spell On You" that Brandon mentioned, she was 9 in that performance. Also her cover of Elvis' "Suspicious Minds" at age 16. Last year she put out an EP of originals, check out "Love Don't Let Me Go" and "Now I'm the Fool" from that.
Sadly, Angelina’s paternal grandfather died in March 2018 and her maternal grandfather died in November 2019. Angelina’s maternal grandmother Mery Zamani has had tremendous influence on Angelina and her career as she introduced Angelina to jazz at early age. From Republic Records bio, Angelina said “Today, I sing barefoot as a reminder of all the kids in the world who need help and support.” See Angelina's book "Mellom to hjerter" (Between Two Hearts) for background story of 6-year old Angelina meeting shoeless girl to whom Angelina gave her shoes. This is Angelina Jordan the most extraordinary storyteller in my lifetime. Unchained Melody Nobel Peace Prize Dec. 2023 Unchained Melody (AJ, at the age of 17 performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony December 2023 in Oslo, Norway) I watched as Angelina Jordan stepped onto the stage, her presence commanding attention. The room hushed, anticipation hanging in the air like a delicate thread. She stood there, a young girl with an old soul, ready to weave magic with her voice. As the first notes of "Unchained Melody" filled the room, time seemed to slow. Angelina's voice wrapped around each word, infusing them with a depth that transcended mere lyrics. It was as though the song had been written for her, and her alone. The audience held its breath as she sang. Her voice soared, reaching heights that touched the heavens. The pain and longing in her eyes mirrored the emotions in the song-the heartache, the yearning. It was more than a performance; it was a revelation. The chorus came, and Angelina's voice swelled, filling every corner of the room. " Oh, my love, my darling I've hungered, hungered for your touch," she sang, and suddenly, we all felt the real meaning of the words. The magic in her performance was like nothing we had ever experienced in our lives. The lyrics came alive and had meaning as they flowed through us. In that moment, Angelina Jordan became a vessel for something greater-an embodiment of love itself. Her voice carried us beyond our own pain and loneliness. We felt connected-to her, to each other, to something intangible yet profound. As she held that final note, time snapped back into place. The applause erupted-a thunderous acknowledgment of what we had just witnessed. But it wasn't just applause; it was gratitude-for allowing us to glimpse love and longing through Angelina's eyes. And so, we stood there, hearts full, tears in our eyes. Angelina Jordan had given us something rare-a reminder that love exists even in our brokenness. And for those few minutes, we believed it with every fiber of our being. (CopyRight)
Oh boy, you are going to be bombarded by her fans called Angels that will fill you in on this music prodigy with an old soul from Norway. She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. Even though she has been compared by many to Amy Winehouse, her major influence is Billie Holiday. Other influences are Dinah Washington, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Etta James,Whitney Houston, and Adele to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, "Wow, what a rendition!" For Queen to respond to someone covering one of their songs is quite a feat since they rarely react to anyone. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity. Now 18 years old, living in Los Angeles, and currently signed with Republic Records, whose clients include Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Drake to name a few. Her family and Republic Records had agreed not to heavily promote her just yet so she can live as normal of a life as possible and finish her schooling. From what we know, she is finally done with school. She had a single that came out May 5th called Love Don't Let Me Go, a new EP called Old Enough that came out Friday, July 21st, 2023, a newly released video of her new song called Now I'm The Fool, and a new album of original music which will be coming out some time this year. Angelina released her new single, Our Time, and is fantastic! She returned back to Norway and performed at a number of sold out concerts in which fans from around the world came to see her. Many of the fans there said she sounded better live in person and was a once in a lifetime experience. On September 22, 2023, Angelina had her first U.S. concert that sold out in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. On December 11, 2023, she was asked to come back and perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. She first performed at this prestigious event in 2014 when she was 8. On Feb.29th, 2024, she performed 2 shows on one night at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. A film crew followed her and created a documentary of her called Angelina Jordan: 10 Years In The Making which premiered on her official TH-cam channel on March 29th, 2024. Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a poor shoeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. The girl then asked Angelina what her dreams were, Angelina answered that she wanted to sing for the whole world, and the girl said she would pray for her success. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. One of the reasons why we love her so much!
What you left out is she did that arrangement herself at 13. Also that it was so awesome that the members of queen reached out to her and said that was the best rendition I’ve ever heard in their life. And what the hell they released the copyrights to the barefoot princess. How many times have you heard that?
Our barefoot Angelia, now the new Goddess of song, has arrived at the top of the music world with her concert in Vegas on the same stage that Elvis performed on and singed her name at the top of the board that all the artist have signed who performed there ,: as well as I just heard a commercial on TV where they used Angelina's original song,' Our Time ' during the commercial. She is the G.O,A.T, and she is well recognized by all in the music world
Thank you both for reacting to this emotional performance by Angelina honoring the legend Freddie Mercury with her own rendition of this iconic song. The Barefoot Angel's humanitarian characteristic is as important as her musical talent; thanks for mentioning the reason behind her performing barefoot in her public performances.
Angelina released her version of Bohemian Rhapsody with permission from Queen on January 24th, 2020 under her own label ANGELINA JORDAN INC. shortly after Angelina celebrated her 14th birthday. (There are now over 16 million streams on Spotify alone) 👣💯 *AJ* 💯👣
Thank you guys, we need more of this collaboration for Angelina. It was my first time learning about her and it hit me to the point of crying. Such an iconic song and her angelic sound plus the arrangement was beautiful.
The Norwegian singer, Angelina Jordan is a young legend. now living in LA, Angelina Jordan (curent 18 Yeats old ). She is an elegant artist for the big occasions. Which artist has sung for the Nobel Peace Prize twice, and she sings FIFA's official song before the upcoming World Cup. She has sung for 40,000 in concert with Nora Jones. She has helped to collect 21 million for children in need. Performed for many countries' heads of state on many big occasions. Concert in Las Vegas, with a number of other live concerts. Signed record deal with "Republic Records" at only 14 years old. The list is almost endless ... She is so talented that no one can ignore her, and together with Rebpublic Records, she actually sets the pace herself to total worldfame . Although she herself is an 18-year-old young lady, her taste in music is quality, and not just high bass in the stomach. When the next James Bond film is to be made, who do you think is in the spotlight for a possible theme song? The list of what Angelina has already been involved in is already so extensive that only a deep dive into her performances has to be searched online by yourself. It is too extreme to almost believe! All important people in the music industry know who she is and what she is good at on big occasions. I don't think anyone has the guts to suggest to her a fast track that doesn't suit her. Her integrity is too strong for that! - The remaining members of Queen allowed her to copyright her arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody! (Translated by Google) Today (18 years old) Angelina Jordan is no longer a talent, but a world-class singer!
A barefoot princess with a hypnotic voice. As usual, a vocal master piece. Born Angelina Jordan Astar on January 10, 2006 in Oslo, Norway to her Norwegian mother, Sara Astar and her Swedish father, Gerry Christian Slattman. Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on TH-cam. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz. Mery Zamani is Iranian and was a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran. Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Her teachers were smart enough to not attempt to change what she was doing vocally. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage. Why Angelina always performs barefoot At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. PLEASE PURCHASE Angelina’s book from her merchandise store on her official website, angelinajordanofficial Angelina, at age 6 and 7, did record a few songs in a recording studio at her school, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 7 year old. At age 7, Angelina’s audition on Norway’s Got Talent, was a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday”, a song which was banned by a number of European countries during World War II because authorities worried the song would increase the suicide rate. Truly bizarre that this is the song to launch the career of a child musical prodigy. One of the judges on NGT cried. Angelina had turned 8 years old for her next performance on NGT, covering Billie Holiday’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” singing acapella which was required by NGT unless the singer also played an instrument while singing. This was the Judge’s cut round of the competition and was not performed in front of an audience. In the Semi Final round of NGT, Angelina sang “Bang Bang” which was written by Sonny Bono and was first performed by his wife Cher but is best known sung by Nancy Sinatra. The improvement in each performance is incredible even though there were only a couple months between them. In the Finals, Angelina did a cover of George Gershwin’s, “Summertime” and won the contest, capturing 46% of the votes from the ten finalists. When asked what she would like to do with the prize money she won (500,000 kroner or about $80,000), Angelina replied, “I want to give it to the poor children”. Angelina had become a star in her native Norway and her videos on TH-cam went viral. She gave a few concerts during the summer of 2014 while 8 years old. In December 2014, Angelina realized a life-long desire to sing at the Save the Children's Peace Prize Celebration which is part of the Noble Peace Prize celebration. Angelina’s family took her to United States, Brazil, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Russia, South Korea, Singapore among other corners of Earth, to perform for heads of state and to help raise money for charity. All before Angelina turned 14. At age 9, Angelina recorded a music video covering the 1956 Jay Hawkin’s classic, “I Put a Spell On You”. The video begins by showing Angelina writing her “wishes” for how she wants to perform the song. Angelina has always created her own arrangements for her cover songs. At age 10 and just a week before her 11th birthday, Angelina recorded a demo of “I’m Still Holding Out for You”. Her family never pursued having that recording officially released but someone leaked it on a TH-cam video. Thankfully, everyone involved with that song is now ok with the leaked version. Many angels (fans) believe this is one of Angelina’s best performances. When Angelina was 11, she performed a number of concerts in Norway with a jazz/rock band. Those concerts included up to 14 songs, each remarkably performed. Angelina seems to be at her best when on stage, never nervous, only 100% confident. Also at age 11, Angelina recorded her “It’s Magic” album which has, at times, been in the top 10 best selling jazz albums. On June 27, 2018, at age 12, Jordan performed Frank Sinatra “Fly Me to the Moon” for Quincy Jones in The O2 Arena in London. She has said that was the high point of her young career which was already in it’s 6th year. During 2018, Angelina lost her paternal grandfather, her friend Avicii and one of her idols, Aretha Franklin. She did a moving tribute for each. In 2019, Angelina accepted an invitation to compete in the 2nd season of America’s Got Talent (AGT), The Champions. She had, since age 3, wanted to perform for Simon Cowell and she earned his praise with her genius arrangement of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The surviving members of Queen loved it so much they put a link to it on their Twitter. Angelina was eliminated after covering Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”. Angelina’s family refused to sign any agreement with AGT. Angelina, before age 14, had covered more than 130 songs from 80 different artists, spanning at least 8 genres, all of which are available on TH-cam. Angelina has always made changes to each song she covers and often her version is preferred over the original. On TH-cam, search on The Complete Works of Angelina Jordan as Rusty Shackleford has put all songs in one file and has a complete playlist in the description of that video. The pandemic hit shortly after her performances on AGT and likely caused a change of plans by her family, most notably her Uncle Michael who is her manager. Her family agreed to a contract with Republic Records in August 2020. Republic Records declared Angelina Jordan their highest priority new artist. Reportedly her family requested Republic to allow her as normal a childhood as possible and therefore have yet to fully promote her. AJ is now signed with Republic Records, and her most recent music is being co-written and produced by Toby Gad. I won't even begin to give you a list of her performances -- you'll get them all. She is simply one of the two or three best female voices on the planet.
Brandon, Your Buddy, who is a reactor as well, doesn't remember so much information that is revealed every time. You will be blown away by the career she's had since at least 11/2 yrs old...that's right! There's a video of her laying in her bed, her bottle lying next to her, and she's holding a mic longer than her little pudgy arm, and she's singing Whitney Houston...crazy to know that her career has spanned 10+ yrs and she's only 18 1/2 yrs old. I suggest, if you're interested in pursuing her career and to get a nice little summary, her mom produced a mini documentary called "10 Years in the Making - Angelina Jordan" (you can find it on her channels) it's a nice little introduction. Hope to see you on the flipside...and prepare yourself for the avalanche of comments you'll get from we, her fans...BTW, she calls her fan's "Angels". Wish you the best, you were really focusing on her skills, and that's a great start. See you on the flipside???? PEACE!!
Hello from Norway. Today I gave you a like. If there comes more Angelina Jordan I will give you a sub too. I want to follow you on your Angelina Jordan-journey. It will be fun!
Her and her team would not agree to contractual obligations if she had won the competition. AGT needed her more than AJ need AGT. I believe she participated in this for North American exposure, it worked.
I'm glad that you have now had the opportunity to enter into the world of the bare foot princess! But, this is only the beginning of the experience that awaits you if you explore the output that Angelina has produced between the ages of 6 and 18. You will be deluged with comments from AJ's extremely enthusiastic fan base who will have suggestions for what to do next and acquaint you with the wonderful history of this amazing young woman. If you so choose you have a plethora of opportunities. You could look at her performances at age 7 and 8 on Norway's got talent. You could explore her jazz concerts at ages 10 and 11 ("Feeling Good", "Lovin' You", "Diamonds are Forever" . . .}. You could watch any of her many beautiful at home videos accompanied only by guitar ("Stay", "Crazy", "How Great Thou Art" . . . }. Then there are her early originals ("What is Life", "Oslo", "Shield", "Seventh Heaven", "Million Miles"} and her covers done at 14 and 15 ("Billie Jean", "Easy on Me", "My Funny Valentine", "All I Ask" . . .). Not to mention her last couple of years with her Norwegian Concerts, appearance at the FIFA awards, and the release of her new EP, "Old Enough". Let's see; I left out her 2021 Christmas Concert, her performances in Seoul and Japan, her leaked recording of "Still Holding Out for You" and . . . . . The wondrous world of Angelina Jordan awaits you. Early this year she performed "Unchained Melody".at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremonies this week. The performance is stunning! On February 29 she had two concerts in Las Vegas. Many of those songs are available on James Thiel’s channel (www.youtube.com/@summaEngineer). She is currently collaborating with Toby Gad and has released a redo of “If I Were a Boy” with originals to follow this summer. One of those originals, Bad Valentine, is already available on James' channel.

Thanks for introducing someone new to Angelina Jordan. This is the video that introduced me to Angelina, resulting in my becoming a huge fan, following her every day since. She's recently released a music video of her collaboration with Grammy-winning songwriter Toby Gad, a new version of If I Were A Boy, a song that Beyonce made famous. Here's the MV: th-cam.com/video/_rJ-HlsTsyM/w-d-xo.html
No Shoes When AJ was very small, she meets a girl on the steet in a foreign country that was weighing people with a bathroom scale to make money to buy food, the girl did not have shoes, so Angelina took her shoes off and gave them to her. AJ stated she would not wear shoes while performing until ever shoeless child had shoes to wear. AJ has helped raise millions for charity, so she is not just the greatest storytelling signature vocalist in the world, she cares

This is the first experience of Angelina that a lot of people have. Most of them are that impressed they proceed directly to her rabbit hole of unbelievable artistry at any age
Angelina has been a world class artist and consummate pro since she was 8 years old. She is a once in a lifetime artist. She's not widely know in the US yet but her list of accomplishments internationally is very impressive. Republic Records (i.e. Taylor Swift) has built a studio just for her and is bringing her along gradually. Do some more reactions to her and watch your subscriptions grow. Angelina's covers are especially impressive for me. She takes classic jazz tracks and breathes new life in to them.
My friend, if you enjoy music and like people are you ever going to enjoy this never ending journey. She is now working with Toby Gad and has dropped 2 live and 2 recorded versions of "If I Were a Boy" and on James Thiel's site a new song in collaboration with Toby called "My Bad Valentine" live. That would be a good one as he has not seen it yet. Good day.
For anybody new to Angelina, who wants to get to know her quickly, I created this playlist with 11 songs from age 7 to 17 (plus a trailer for a documentary describing her career up to 2023): th-cam.com/play/PLddfS789jBCrSUcMxwCiHeJi8A9zN5xt3.html 1. Gloomy Sunday, her 2013 audition to Norway's Got Talent, when she was 7, which was aired in 2014 and then immediatly went viral. 2. Fly Me to the Moon, live on The View, was her US debut later in 2014, and also went viral. It gathered more than 37 Million views on TH-cam, and many more on Facebook. 3. I Put a Spell On You, the song where Screamin' Jay Hawkins got his nickname from, has 11 Million Views so far. Her cover is closer to his original than most well known covers of it. She was 9 years old here. 4. Feeling Good, in a version sung on TV in 2016 while still being 10 years old, though she already started to perform the song in public about a year earlier. 5. A Million Years Ago, one of 13 Adele covers she did, as an impressive acoustic home studio recording. 6. Shield, from 2018, was the third original she relased that year at 12 years old. It is about the protection and support she gets from her family. 7. Bohemian Rhapsody, in her own stripped down arrangement on AGT the Champions Season 2, wowed everyone, including the group Queen themselves, who twittered "Wow, what a performance of Bohemian Rhapsody!" 8. Million Miles, which she wrote and produced together with Stargate, is about the loss of a close person (her grandfather), and was the first song she released 2020 with Republic Records. 9. 7th Heaven, her 2nd song with RR from 2021, is encouraging people to persue their dreams, like she did. 10. Suspicious Minds, done 2022, is an Elvis cover as unique as Bohemian Rhapsody was. 11. Love Don't Let Me Go, her third release with Republic Records, and the first new song on her recently released EP "Old Enough" of total 6 new original songs. If you are more interested in her recent performances, here is a playlist containing releases and performances from her last 3 years, including all titels from "Old Enough": th-cam.com/play/PLddfS789jBCqMgW5xQeK97nibjJCeDme5.html She cites Billie Holiday as her biggest influence. And she covered more songs from Adele than by any other artist, followed by Amy Winehouse, Elvis, and Sam Smith.
Bohemian Rhapsody The reaction by the public to Angelina Jordan’s rearranged version of Bohemian Rhapsody on AGT in 2020, when she was 13, almost 14, was paramount to an earthquake being felt around the world, this video, and others of this performance have been viewed more that 150 million times. AJ's videos have been viewed over 4 billion times On Facebook, and over 1.8 billion times on TH-cam as of Feb 20, 2023 (This does not count Instagram, or TikTok. We don't just have a STAR in AJ, we have a SUPPER NOVA. Angelina Jordan is taking the universe by storm.)

*Why Angelina always performs barefoot* At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina never learned the orphan's name but called her Princess. The orphan girl replied, "princesses live in castles, we live in ruins". Angelina titled her song about this story, "Princess of Ruins". Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. PLEASE PURCHASE Angelina’s book from her merchandise store on her official website.
BRAND NEW Please listen to ANGELINAs collab with Grammy winning Toby Gad BAD VALENTINE. ( does not allowedvyo be barefooted in the bar as they serve food)
Welcome to “The World Of Angelina Jordan Astar” (full name). “The Barefoot Princess With The Velvet Voice And A Mona Lisa Smile”. Born Jan 10, 2006 in Oslo Norway. From her audition on Norway’s Got Talent (2014 - age 7 - Gloomy Sunday "Billy Holiday") through the final on America’s Got Talent The Champions (2020 - age 13 - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road "Sir Elton John") and the 130+ videos in between you will not be disappointed. This includes three originals song: “What Is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” Since then she has done many new covers and now her new singles "Million Miles" and “7th Heaven”, along with her movie soundtrack "Mercy" from the motion picture “The Hating Game”. As well as her brilliant version of Elvis’s “Suspicious Mind”. She released her latest album “Old Enough” and it is definitely some of her best stuff. My personal favorite is her cover of Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die". Although the soundtrack is really growing on me.
Here is an interview where Angelina (age 9) explains why she performs barefoot - there are English subtitles as the spoken language is Norwegian: th-cam.com/video/-cCLDY0CSZ8/w-d-xo.html
Angelina wrote this arrangement. She has been editing and arranging all her music since she was 6. The changes were simple things in the beginning but have moved to more complex things as she has gotten older. She is now 18 and has just finished working with Toby Gad in doing a new imagining of the song that helped Beyonce' become the giant beast she has become. Angelina sings, 'If I Were A Boy'. Let me tell you people are going to be like Beyonce' who? Angelina and Toby are also writing new music together and have written a song that will blow up when it is released to the general public in a couple of months. Until then we have a rough draft that they have sung in a LIVE setting. Angelina sang both songs described above. Here are the links. th-cam.com/video/JdJHIy5nnqM/w-d-xo.html Angelina 18 'If I Were A Boy' by Toby Gad and BC Jean. th-cam.com/video/yTjzhPSVguc/w-d-xo.html Angelina 18 'Bad Valentine' by Angelina and Toby Gad.
No one should react to anyone’s cover of this masterpiece song if the band Queen, the original video, because THAT’S what will blow you away. Freddie Mercury’s legacy should not be messed with. Queen will always be the best over any cover of their songs, they were THAT good. The best. I cant Stand these covers, no true Queen fan can. Not even Queen 10/Adam Lambert beats the original Queen 1970-1991.

This was her arrangement.
A great video to introduce Angelina’s family,
When you react to Bohemian Rhapsody take notice during her performance they highlight audience members in the front row. ♥👣👸🏻🎷
👏🏻♥️👏🏻♥️👏🏻♥️👏🏻♥️👏🏻♥️
Great Reaction Guys 👍🙏👣💯😎
It’s amazing to here Angelina tell the story herself:
m.th-cam.com/video/t4LsdNMX_-0/w-d-xo.html
The encounter was so significant in Angelina’s early life that when she turned nine, she wrote a book about it (illustrated by her Grandma, the Iranian artist Mery Zamani). The publication of this book made Angelina the youngest author in Norway’s history.
This past February Angelina performed two back-to-back concerts in Las Vegas.
Angelina introduced a brand new song at those concerts called “Princess of Ruins.” It repeats the story of Angelina’s encounter with Princess musically.
Here’s a link to a wonderful video of one of the two performances that evening (*DEFINITELY* worth reacting to)…
“Princess of Ruins”

Brian May and Queen were so impressed , they gave her the copywrite to her rendition of the song. This was a few days before her 14th birthday, her b-day is Jan 10, she is 18 today.
Please do check out the cover of "I Put A Spell On You" that Brandon mentioned, she was 9 in that performance. Also her cover of Elvis' "Suspicious Minds" at age 16. Last year she put out an EP of originals, check out "Love Don't Let Me Go" and "Now I'm the Fool" from that.
The show was aired on TV on January 6th 2020 but the entire show was pre-recorded, in Sept/Oct 2019.
Awesome reaction thank you ❤❤❤ wild bill
A few of the hundreds of covered/original songs by Angelina include:
- What A Difference A Day Makes (as 8-year old, sung Dinah Washington classic on Allsang På Grensen at Fredriksten Fortress in Halden, Norway on June 3, 2014. Angelina's presentation of song belies her age: th-cam.com/video/ZSfgCIGd7k4/w-d-xo.html)
- Feeling Good (as 10-year old, Angelina sung Nina Simone song on Norwegian show The Stream Gir Tilbake that broadcasts live stage performances. Angelina goes up four consecutive higher notes for dramatic finish: th-cam.com/video/p8kAL-sGJx8/w-d-xo.html)
- Shield [as 12-year old, Angelina co-wrote about someone you love and whose strong love protects you wherever you are. She sung on very popular Scandinavian talk show Skavlan (2.5 to 3 million viewers per show): th-cam.com/video/lQtUbVKb0vs/w-d-xo.html]
- It’s A Man’s World (as 12-year old. Enhanced version that gives background info about live concert and shows lyrics. Angelina does this James Brown’s 1967 hit R&B song justice showing off her singing chops: th-cam.com/video/tGXnodBLyUg/w-d-xo.html)
- Million Miles (co-wrote as 14-year old after her maternal grandfather died and she was thinking about great memories she had and how it hurts to lose someone. Angelina dedicated song to anyone who has lost loved one. Angelina made Republic Records studio live video: th-cam.com/video/3KxvwuZ7oEM/w-d-xo.html)
- 7th Heaven (co-wrote as 15-year old, Angelina said that “The song is a reminder to look at everything in a positive light and not get down on yourself. Most importantly-no matter what you’re doing-don’t give up. It’s also meant to make you dance.” Angelina made official music video with waitress dreaming, then dancing and singing with Angelina: th-cam.com/video/9rLiWvwzbCA/w-d-xo.html)
- Billie Jean (as 15-year old, Angelina completely turns Michael Jackson’s 1982 hit song on its head by doing a jazzy version that re-invents the song to something different than original: th-cam.com/video/xp67k9wk2Mw/w-d-xo.html)
- Suspicious Minds (as 16-year old, music video shot in LA antique store. Angelina puts unique twist to this 1969 Elvis Presley hit song by slowing it way down and rearranging lyrics: th-cam.com/video/RTbKhkceR00/w-d-xo.html)

This is Angelina Jordan the most extraordinary storyteller in my lifetime.
Unchained Melody Nobel Peace Prize Dec. 2023
Unchained Melody (AJ, at the age of 17 performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony December 2023 in Oslo, Norway) I watched as Angelina Jordan stepped onto the stage, her presence commanding attention.
She is the G.O,A.T, and she is well recognized by all in the music world
Angelina Jordan has over 1.5 billion views on TH-cam and over 4 billion views on Facebook.

Today (18 years old) Angelina Jordan is no longer a talent, but a world-class singer!
🥰
Hopefully you do her performances from Norway's Got Talent! She will definitely blow you away! Amazingly talented!
During the pandemic, Angelina was often seen buying meals for the homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In November 2020, Angelina released “Million Miles” which she wrote after the passing of her beloved maternal grandfather. She dedicated the song to anyone who has ever lost a loved one. Angelina had previously released, 3 other original songs: “What is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” In April 2021, her original “7th Heaven” was released. A jazzy, danceable, inspiring song. Angelina has posted numerous short performances on Tik Tok and Instagram. Angelina had concerts in Norway in July 2022. In December 2022, Angelina performed at the Asian American Awards in Los Angeles. On 2/27/23, Angelina performed at the FIFA Awards ceremony in Paris, France, with a viewing audience in the millions. On May 5th, 2023, Angelina released her original "Love Don't Let Me Go". On July 23th she released her orginal EP “Old Enough”.
Angelina perform Concert at the Music Hall in Portsmouth New Hampshire on Sept 22nd, 2023. It Was a great concert, who was not and could regret it, a big mistake. On 10/27/23 she released her new orginal singiel “Our Time”. In November 2023, she was presented as a debutante at Le Bal des débutantes in Paris. On 12/08/23 she released new Marry Christmas EP “Driving Home for Christmas”. On 12/10/23 she sing in Oslo at the Nobel Peace Prize Celebration - Unchained Melody tribute to 2023 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Iranian human rights activist Narges Mohammadi. On february 29, 2024 she had two concerts in Las Vegas, Nevada,on the Elvis stage.
The comments have already said everything you need to know. Have fun! 😎
AJ is now signed with Republic Records, and her most recent music is being co-written and produced by Toby Gad. I won't even begin to give you a list of her performances -- you'll get them all. She is simply one of the two or three best female voices on the planet.
A huge thank you for explaining the meaning behind Angelina singing barefoot..it really is the key to understanding her..
Thanks for the reaction to our angel Angelina..she’s simply the best…subscribed your channel by the way…
Brandon, Your Buddy, who is a reactor as well, doesn't remember so much information that is revealed every time.
Heidi Klum gives her the Golden Buzzer but it did not appear on this video.

No Shoes
When AJ was very small, she meets a girl on the steet in a foreign country that was weighing people with a bathroom scale to make money to buy food, the girl did not have shoes, so Angelina took her shoes off and gave them to her. AJ stated she would not wear shoes while performing until ever shoeless child had shoes to wear. AJ has helped raise millions for charity, so she is not just the greatest storytelling signature vocalist in the world, she cares
Such a great reaction thanks guys!
Queen gave Angelina the Copywrite on her version of this song.

Good day.

I love Angelina Jordan. This is one of my favorite covers that she sang
Bohemian Rhapsody
The reaction by the public to Angelina Jordan’s rearranged version of Bohemian Rhapsody on AGT in 2020, when she was 13, almost 14, was paramount to an earthquake being felt around the world, this video, and others of this performance have been viewed more that 150 million times. *Why Angelina always performs barefoot*
At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money.

Her fans she calls us her Angels. We tend to be devoted fans, i think.
