A modern shamanic performer. Seen him and LPD multiple times, special and unique each one, with him giving 200% whether in front of a dozen or hundreds. Just like the man says, the few was THE show which was the most fun and I'll never forget.
Asylum is near the top for me, but if you open the gates of band, I would go with To Be an Angel Blind, or Last Man to Fly. For Dots, I've drifted toward the four or five Golden Age era albums, over the Tower Asylum years. But hell they are all really good.
Edward Ka-Spel has been the voice of creative joy and humor in my ears since high school. I didn't know that was his mother's maiden name, after all these years! Figured it was some jive Stephen Stapleton made up.
Watched. In all seriousness, very nice, an important artist, who doesn't get his voice out that much, outside of the poetry. Oh, and it is not PeeWee Hermann, but Kafka, I've always assumed, which goes very well with the theme of that album.
I LOVE his work with TEAR GARDEN. You and me and Rain bows is one of my favorite song.
