Another enjoyable video. I feel the confusion your god son that fished the first time on jetties. I don’t live on the coast but go every year to fish and I’m still not good at fish identification. I ended up using 2 apps to help me with the fish I catch. One is “picture fish” that identifies the fish and I catch. I also use “ Texas saltwater fishing” app. It tells you the minimum and maximum sizes and regulations. It has helped me a lot. Your set up look great for beach camping looks fantastic Stay safe stay healthy
It’s the most convenient and fancy way to camp in extreme places. Made for people who DONT want to do RV camping sites. The suspension and off-roading capability is top notch. Unfortunately, I don’t have anyone to use it with and will need to sell it.
I top off with fuel right before I enter PINS. I was able to make it with less than half a tank with the camper on tow. My son’s more fuel efficient Ford Ranger consumed less. I brought 10 extra gallons only because I wasn’t sure how much driving I was going to do. If you are driving sensibly, I think you’ll make it to and back with one tank-full. I would recommend maybe an extra 5 gallons to be safe.
@ my LX gets 13-14 normally so I’ve wondered how bad it would be at PINS. Especially if we went all the way down, which of course I want to do. I’ll definitely bring at least an extra 5 gallons.
I live around the corpus area and would love to catch up with and fish the surf with you sometime. I have an 05 jeep liberty overlander, camp & fish alone regularly. really enjoy your videos and now also follow roberts channel bluelines5.0
Hello Ruben. I don’t go to PINS often. I visit South Padre frequently since it’s closer to where I live. I will post on my instagram when I go back. Thanks for the support!
Great video. Glad y'all made it out before the nasty weather hit.
Yes sir! We knew it was coming and pushed it to the edge 😂

Thank you. I have some fish ID apps, but there’s no dependable phone signal there lol
@ no phone signal definitely would hamper the use of it. I’ve only been down to the Mansfield cut once which was a great experience.
Looks like some good time my friend. Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and Happy New year.
Thanks, brother. Hope you enjoy the holidays with the people you love 🎥✌🏽
How are you liking the opus?

What kind of fuel consumption do you go through driving on the beach? Do you always bring extra fuel with you?

How are you flying a drone out there? Can you get a permit at the visitors center?
I didn’t fly my drone. I only use it in South Padre. I was sent that video.
@@CoastalGX was hoping maybe they opened it up with a permits or something. I've been wanting to do that.
@@danbooth1987they should. It’s silly that they don’t allow it yet Space X and low flying aircraft is all over lol
