I somehow missed this episode. I was listening during my morning routine, heard this 34:12, laughed and spat out my coffee. *Chef’s Kiss* That was awesome, Rae.
I agree that Pfeiffer was perfect as Catwoman; but Bening did do a convincing villain in "The Grifters".
I also have a much older example of replacing actors (really switching in this case): in 1931, for "The Public Enemy", James Cagney was cast in the supporting role to Edward Woods in the central role. Watching the dailies convinced director William Wellman that Cagney needed to be the main character. Woods was demoted to Cagney's former role and the rest is history.
I've never seen Knocked Up, nor do I want to, but my sister was actually in it. But by the time my sister was involved, Hathaway wasn't even associated with it anymore (or I was just too young to be aware) and this is actually the first time I'm learning she was even involved in it at all ever. But I fully agree that I too might've been interested if Anne Hathaway had been in there!

If you dont get why Annette Bening was a potential Catwoman watch The Grifters.... shes smokin hot and plays a sort of Femme Fatale / Con artist, portraying a lot of similarities with the Catwoman character...

It's crazy that you guys mentioned the whole DeVito x Wolverine thing in this show, 3 YEARS AGO, because today I just saw that Corridor Crew made a video of exactly that. Haven't watched it.
Edit: I guess I'm just all kinds of sync'd up with this episode because it ended right when I got home and walked in the door. Love when that happens 😄

I had an issue finding it on Google until I wrote the name exactly as it is written on their TH-cam channel - I was able to find it that way.
How *clears throat* THE FUCK...does this channel not have a bigger following? I have 2K followers on IG. Hopefully I can 2K of them to this channel. I am binge listening to this for a week now.

The whole 'everyone had a lovely time on LOTR' didn't age well when it turned out that nobody on set was paid properly and the producers made a killing.
