This was the last video I watched for last minute revision this morning before the physics exam. A question on this exact practical came up and I was able to regurgitate this. Cheers FreeScienceLessons
Sir, I don't know if words can express my gratitude. As a student who is completely a majority-AQA+Edexcel GCSE in 1 year because of joining late, I didn't have the opportunity to do the practicals in class. Thankfully, with your videos, I am able to create notes and visualize these in a way which, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to. For that, thank you so much!
im so stressed for starting yr11 now ,we missed half of yr10 and most of yr9 and they havent said anything about changing the exams and we're supposed to sit them in may , literally the only reason i can get through this is because you sir thanks
give it 3 weeks. lemme guess everyone started revision and is choosing this topic cause its the shortest and they cant be bothered to start with energy
it's common sense though isn't it measure volume of liquid with measuring cylinder, measure mass of liquid with balance, use equation to find density. done
the density of liquids is just measuring mass and volume of the liquid, you do not need any complex tools. all you need to the equation - that's probably why it's not in this video.
At my school, we didn't use the displacement method for irregular objects. We did not use a Eureka can. So, it is still fine to write out the method we done at school, or is it best to use this method?
It really depends on your spec. If you're doing AQA 9-1 for Science, and your test is based on the same spec, then you should be able to get the marks for writing this out.
Sultana Kauser you don’t need to know for gcse, but I suppose you could just contain it it a regular container and weigh it and use d=m/v to find the density
for AQA physics 9-1 specification, do we have to know about convection, conduction and radiation in terms of heat loss? because ive heard that this is the old spec not the new 9-1
Sir how long do you think it will be till your a level videos for chemistry will all be done. I was so happy when I saw u were doing a level as well. U will be the main reason I pass (if I do pass lol)
My kerboodle aqa textbook has more practicals than this, for example the insulation test and the spring extension practicals, can you incled them as well ?
surely a vase which appears to be sealed is a bad example for an irregular object, because if it's sealed the right amount of water won't be displaced. I mean I know it might not be but the lid seems to imply it.
2024 where yall at lets get to grinding before we get cooked 🔥🔥🔥🔥🗣🗣🗣🗣
on ittt

ddi you do AQA
AQA if so I’m gonna revise it this year
@@giorgia2017 It probably won't come up again. I really hope it's not the practical on factors which affect resistance.

In exactly a month, everyone will be here
Kian Cos we’re all about those Grade 8s and 9s 😂😂
Kian correct
Yep
we have arrived
that prediction tho 😂😂😂😂
Bro, I learn more from this man in half an hour than from my science teacher in a term's worth of lessons
i'm so glad there's only 2 required practicals on paper 1 its great

Sir, it would really be helpful if you could make a playlist with all the required practicals
I've made a playlist covering the required practicals. I still have some more to do but all of them will be done by the exams.
thank uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
thank you dude!

They’re meant to change the exam :( they are for us!
well this is a required practical for higher anyway
good luck!! 😁
Gl tomorrow bro
here, you dropped this: 👑
this is helping me a lot as I am starting year 9 and going into GSCE revision i learn from this to be able to pass moc exams :D
Ooh For me we start gcse revision and do mocks in year 10 :D which I am in
Yo honestly jus chill in yr 9 or just make notes cuz thats ur only free year before death trust me
how smart are u Im doing this in year 10??

Thanks so much. Hopefully this will help my AQA Physics Exam in a few weeks

Came here after I realised this was one of the practicals needed for physics paper 1🤦🏽♀️😫
This was six marker than god i watched this, Thank you sir
Hope everyone does well in the exam soon
i dont, grade boundaries would be on steroids if everyone does well

thank you very much, appreciate the detail, and the fact that everyhting was nice and straight forward. got a physics test tmrw, wish me luck

Sounds about right😂
This is the easiest experiment to remember in science
i was about to say that , its literally how every practical should be like biology is so extra especially with practical's and for what reason
My grade went up to grade 8 thanks to this guys help ❤️
how come in the book it tells you about the density of liquids? is that not on the specification

Hi, thank you for the video. It was very useful.
Are we expected to know how to work out the density of liquids.
Great video - needed it deperately
Glad it was helpful!

thanks alot dude ur a legend ❤🔥
do u need to know a practical for density of liquids. It was in the CGP book so just wanted to clarify
btw awesome videos
the density of liquids is just measuring mass and volume of the liquid, you do not need any complex tools. all you need to the equation - that's probably why it's not in this video.
'and remember you need to remember this equation for the exam'

Thank you, Dr Ukscienceguy, you will save my Physics exam tomorrow
At 2:49 , wouldn’t the water flow into the vase?

The editing is on point!!!
Came back to school after lockdown and forgot i had to do tables in pencil ;(
Thank you so much you made it so clear and easy to understand :)

Gabriel Radanne are u ok?
Thank you can you put all the science biology and chemistry videos in order starting from the first topic to the last?
what a great video thanks for the information
Thank you for this informative lesson much was learned from a short video 👍
yes
when you have a science exam tomorrow and you are here watching this guy at 3 AM #GCSE2019
do we need to know how to calculate density for liquids?
I think you need to.
Owen Jones yeah man
good luck with whatever youse are doing
Got this in 2 hours!

Use this one.

I have a q how would you find the density of liquids?
