Its amazing the different direction people go with bonsai. I love the way that tree turned out. Great choice. Cheers from Ojai California

That's exactly why I love the art! There is no wrong way to create the tree. Its all in the vision of the person.

You certainly made an enormous change to the original design and have created an opportunity for this tree to develop (I'm guessing) into a beautiful windswept style in the future. All the bones are there so it will be great to see this developed in time. Thanks for sharing.....I enjoy watching your work.

Thank you very much for watching! Not sure if it will be a windswept style or not. Only time will tell!

Yes, never presume what the style will be given that Bonsai are ever evolving.

Thank you for watching! I felt like I left so many detail shots out of this video and didnt really have the lighting right for the reveal of the tree. I'll keep on working on perfecting those aspects!

Beautiful outcome .! Love the deadwood. I live in NYC and being how rare it is to even get a shimpaku or get a cheap one online I would have air layered that top portion. I did manage to get a small one from Brussels awhile ago though but today they want crazy money for anything. Just started this hobby about 5 years ago and love the progression of a tree year after year and making changes to them. Lrg wow! Just bought a sick camo tree hat I found! I've been into them since the beginning! I wonder if they even know their symbol is just like a bonsai. Great video man keep them coming!

Yooo an LRG head?! That's pretty sick hahaha. I loved the brand before I even got into Bonsai and now it makes even more sense! I definitely considered air layering but the dead wood added much more Character! I did however keep a lot of the cuttings and I'm currently trying to root those. Crossing my fingers just 2 root!

@@PNWBonsai I'm going to try an air layer on mine this year. It's going to be small but better than nothing. Yea I was really into underground hip hop since like 98'.so I always loved underground clothes. Favorite group though had to be people under the stairs.they just had a cool tribe called quest vibe.

@@Chris-oq6kn yoo I grew up on underground as well! I started skating around the whole Hip hop Era of skateboarding. My favorite mixtape of all is the Ecko Unlimited Underground Airplay. I have so many lofi beats in my library. My videos dont typically call for beats though hahaha.

@@PNWBonsai haha. I like the slow melo music in the video. Yea I did alot of skating in my day also! Time caught up with me and I haven't touched one in forever. There's always time for bonsai though. If u hadn't heard people under the stairs id check them out!
