Ok so I notice when Brian dances his moves are executed so sharp but graceful at the same time. The way his body moves his transitions are so powerful but yet they look so effortless. It’s another level of dance. I notice the guy in the pink has that same natural ability. I dint know if I’m using the correct terminology I’m not a professional dancer but visually that’s how I see it. Just natural talent.
I never expected anyone to match Jade Chynoweths or Kaycee's execution of this choreography but that young dude in the pink shirt @4:00 absolutely smashed it 👌it's all about those facial expressions too! gs
I love Brian's transitions between floor and standing, it never looks like getting up off the floor. Is that a stupid thing to say? Felt the same in DuaLipa and Call Me Mother, it's really cool
I didn’t consciously notice it before, but you’re right. I do know I noticed the opposite in a different choreographer's video - that awkward pause where it’s not dance, it’s just getting up.
Not only are all these dancers supremely talented, but there has to be something in the wood in this dance studio; EVERY DANCER I have ever seen featured in videos that took place in this studio are super massively talented. When they all pose after they have done some free styling, like they are winding up, after the first 4 lines, NEVER FAILS TO GIVE ME CHILLS. And I ABSOLUTELY love how they came back to the exact pose again a second time. omg.

As much as I love Nia, you could tell that stopping taking classes has really impacted her dancing. Idk if Maesi stopped taking classes too or whatever but this choreo was clearly too fast for her but bless them both for trying and actually making it on to the video.
She’s in a soap opera now, so I think that’s her main focus now, but you’re right! I hope to see her in more of his classes when she has time. He has helped Maddie grow and it’d be great to see her improve as well.
I love the mix of contemporary with other forms in Brian’s choreos! Hits every beat yet doesn’t look aggressive. Brings the best out of the song & dancers’ movement. Great quality!
Awesome. The first group was on fire and the second. Loved the audience enrgy on the first too - it was poppin! The first had me with don't touch my weave. I almost shrieked out loud on the ferry boat. Great job everyone.
I hope Nia takes more of Brian’s classes because even though she didn’t have the choreo perfect, this style suits her SO MUCH BETTER than the crap she got from ALM.
Brian you are a genius!! I love this choreography. You give the kids that space to find the subtleties and not just hitting it hard. I love when I see the use of dynamics by the dancers. Some times it’s knowing when to pull back and let us see you work so hard, especially in that pocket. The guy in the Pink was amazing!!
