Just a little context to the song- Eve, they're talking about the biblical Eve. She broke the rules and tasted the 'forbidden fruit'. As we see in the MV, Yunjin holds up the apple with the arrow through it.
Psyche from greek mythology. She was the wife of Eros. She was forbidden to look at Eros, wanting to see her own husband... Psyche broke the rules set upon her and gazed upon her husband. In the video we see Le Sserafim's maknae- Eunchae standing in front of the painting of Eros, she's focused on looking at her wrists to symbolize Psyche not being allowed to look at Eros.
And then The Bluebeard's wife... well Bluebeard had quite a few wives, but his wife Ariadne was forbidden from opening up the 7th door in their home, she broke the rules and opened the door. In the MV Kazuha puts her hand to her ear like she's trying to listen in on what's behind the wall/door.
All three of these women broke the rules set upon them by others. This song is about making the choice for yourself. Not letting others dictate your life, they even express the inner self- when Eunchae is looking back at the other girls, trying to decide to look at Eros or not... then we see Sakura come up and break Eunchae linking with the other girls, symbolizing those parts of her telling her to continue looking away- which is what they were doing.
Le Sserafim's music has been all about being yourself. In this album, they circulate a lot around making your own choices and not apologizing for who you are, because there's no need for it. They're human, you're human, we're all human and yes, yes we will make mistakes but that's part of growing up and becoming better people.
Le Sserafim has already been winning performance awards. They're amazing performers, since their debut honestly. I hope you see more of their live performances cause those are where they shine outstandingly.
Also the choreographers for this song were Amy Soyeon and Elly Soyoung and also by Kiel Tutin, Keil Tutin also worked on their choreo for 'Blue Flame' (A favorite of mine from their debut album.)

Makes sense the message of the song is very much in line with Yunjin’s principles.
I'm not only a Le sserafim fan but a kpop fan and let me tell you that these girls have the strongest and most complicated choreos out of all 4th gen girl groups (at least), if you watched their 2022 year ending performances you'd know what I'm talking about, it's not only about the choreography but the stage presence and the chemistry between the five members, it's really something rare. I hope you guys check out their MMA 2022 performance and SBS Gayo performance as well, they literally burn the stage with their energy

This reaction was as hype as the song and the music video and I love it. In my opinion, Le sserafim has the hardest choreos amongst 4th gen girl groups, my girls be doing cardio instead of dancing lol... Respect

My favorite song of the whole album, deserved to be title track.
BTW, LE SSERAFIM already won performer (dancer?) of the year at MMA 2022, so they been getting awards for their performances and dancing on the best award ceremonies out there. They the best dancers in the kpop industry alongside probably NMIXX, Dreamcatcher, and probably itzy.
Y'all gotta check out their MMA 2022 performance, I know you guys already reacted to their MAMA one but the camerawork didn't do it justice so you definitely should watch the MMA performance, they literally performed 10 minutes straight with two intros and no breaks, also won best performance that night

I find it hilarious because Antifragile and Hype Boy were like THEE trending dance songs of last year. Ik it doesn’t say much about the group’s dancing overall but it gives you a little nudge that the girls got the right choreographers and the right moves.
My jaw dropped in December when they dropped FIVE completely different end of year performances. They are crazy good. The Hydra performance at MMA, the iconic MAMA dance break, the crazy suitcase thing they did on KBS gayo daechukje with three of their songs, the rock version of antifragile on AAA, the Habanera x LSFM on SBS, all of them different from their normal choreos. I have no idea when they managed to rehearse all that. Sometimes the actual performance camera is wonky and you'll have a better view on the stage practice on their channel.

I'm mostly into electronic and don't really dip into K-pop but the video for this song (and a video of them on stage with awesome audience fan chanting) made me a fan.
It’s been a while since K-Pop has had a pure hype song (like 4minute) so this is nostalgic and new all at the same time. But it’s perfect.

To those who don't understand the title,
Eve, Psyche, & The Bluebeard's Wife are 3 different women from 3 different myths/stories who sought out and did something forbidden. Eve from Adam & Eve ate the forbidden fruit. Psyche looked at Cupid's face when she was forbidden to do so. The Bluebeard's wife is given keys to his house to unlock any room, except she is forbidden to enter one. She does and finds a grisly scene.
All these women did something strictly forbidden to them; they broke the rules. Why? Simply because they wanted to or were curious. In the song, the girls say that they don’t want to hide who they are or just follow along like dolls. They want to have fun, break taboos, decide their own rules - even if that means they’ll be UNFORGIVEN by society.
This is the best song so far everyone got to shine

I won’t get into the full summary of Psyche and Bluebeards wife. And I’m pretty sure everyone knows the story of Eve and the themes from her tale. The women of the other two stories are similar in that they “allowed” temptation and curiosity to push them towards disobedience. So you can just match that up with Lesserafim’s storyline centering on them essentially being fallen angels. As well as the intersectional aspect of them being women. Especially Korean women. In Korea, there’s a certain expectation of how women in their culture should behave and look. And Lesserafim is pretty much saying be yourself, set yourself free from the expectations of others. Don’t fear being disobedient.
