Joey's progression on his golf game is truly incredible; really goes to show if you spend a lot of time on something you can stay exactly where you started.
He went from getting 4 strokes a year ago to getting 6 this round, I’d say he’s going backwards if anything😂

Had me in the first half. Watching these videos since the jump, you can see Bob's game has really grown. It's incredible Joey has stayed put and maybe gotten worse.
He’s gotten better at putting. Everything else seems to have gone downhill. In the early days before Fat P. he used to give Bob strokes 😂

@@gozags9273do you know how handicaps work. Its you 8/20 best scores and factors in the slope and rating of the course. He is easily a 15 and probably in the 13-15 range as they obviously fluctuate somewhat.
@@Jb-wi7xq I’m a 6.5, I know how they work. He drives OB 5-6 times a round, chunks 5-8 wedges a round, and is never the one that makes a putt. He’d be a 20.
I'm still absolutely stunned these guys aren't at a million subs yet. They've been on TV, they've golfed with big named pros, they've had pros watch their content, but they're still not at a million. Truly a diamond in the rough. Absolute gem these guys.

@@gtomsick I don't think it's the clubs I think it's that they do all kinds of crazy challenges and since they do a lot of scrambles etc he doesn't need to try and hit perfect shots. I can guarantee if someone insulted his game he'd go out and drop like 4 birdies in 9 holes

This is the kind of the course these guys never play - tree-lined, a bit tighter, and your misses are magnified by those trees. Can't miss 20-30 yards left/right and have a line back to the green every hole. Fun to see something different!

Yeah love these courses they’ve been playing. I get bored of Florida golf. They need to hit up Big Cedar or like Hilton head and just have Callaway send them a zillion balls.
old trail is fairly open by central VA standards. Most of the tight holes are on the back though, which is largely featured in this vid. They did their scramble on the front. For some reason, they replayed 1 instead of playing 10 and they started this vid with 11 and 12. 11 is pretty tight and can be hard if you get out of position. You cant see it on the video, but it plays noticeably uphill; I'm sure FP has played the course before but I wasn't surprised when he came up short on the approach (because he seemed to play it a stock 160 when it shouldve been adjusted to 165 or so). tight and can be hard if you get out of position. 12 is an easily driveable par 4, but it is super tight. Most of those trees aren't even really a lateral hazard in a tournament, but that is how we usually play them in casual play. That course's biggest defense is the wind, which can be savage (the Rockfish Valley acts as a natural wind tunnel).
