That second dinger I got once before. Facing Bowser's team with the Mario Fireballs. Only the official members. And I had Bowser's set up pretty hard though. But it was my first game that I beat him on All-Star dfficulty.

I played Sluggers in my childhood (21 years old now) and I never knew about the clamber ability. Very interesting and awesome trickshot
You should try to hit a animation home run on Bowser Junior's star pitch with a weak character like Baby Peach

I have no idea why they made it so hard to hit into the pipes on Yoshi Park daytime. It literally never happens in normal games.
Trick shot idea: go through the whole lineup in one inning with no items
I once nailed a home run with Mario's star swing by bonking the fielder with the fireball and the ball bounced out of the field. An unforgettable 3 run homer
