When it comes to Mick Foley, Ross, he's built his whole life and his career like the frickin Terminator, but was able to put over many talent and his own body on the line for our entertainment. But in regards to the matches here's my top 5 in total: 1. Undertaker vs Mankind (Hell in a Cell Match - King of the Ring 1998) 2. Mankind vs The Rock (RAW is WAR 4/1/1999) 3. Mick Foley vs Ric Flair (I Quit Match - SummerSlam 2006) 4. Edge vs Mick Foley (Hardcore Match - WrestleMania 22) 5. Dude Love vs Stone Cold Steve Austin (Over the Edge 1998)
Mick Foley has done it all: Pedigree onto thumbtacks, Spear through flaming tables, multiple chair headshots etc. He is the definition of Destroying his Body for our Entertainment. Thank You Mick always a Legend and a GOAT
And yet very dangerous. I'm kinda surprised he didn't end up like Benoit, then... To be fair Foley has been more careful woth his head... But yeah, neither of those two had it easy.
I'll never forget that hardcore match when Mick Foley wrestled Edge at WrestleMania 22 and Mick got countered by Edge into a hip toss and his back hit the steel step. And don't get me started on that spear through the flaming table spot! Mick Foley was unbelievable
That's my second favorite hardxore match involving wwe wrestlers. The first one was Paigr vs Woods and Maddox. Paigr got them tired and evemtually came.... Through as the winner... That one on one performance with Maddox really added some.... Value to the women's championshop. Gold turned to white gold. It was amazong
That's the match were fans started to take Edge seriously as well! Foley is DIRECTLY responsible for helping Adam Copeland get over. Foley really is a God in professional wrestling!
Mick was supposed to have a match with Dean Ambrose. That's the only reason he had twitter to start a work shoot with Mick, but he failed physical test after physical test and it was called off.
@@JesusIsComingSoon316Well then wouldn’t people who hate the darby stuff actually want him to get hurt badly? I don’t get the whole “I hate this but get home safe” energy. If you don’t like me why not WANT me to end? Like you gotta pick one.

There was a reason why guys like Cactus Jack and Sabu were key features in wrestling magazines during the 90s and that was because they were doing things that revolutionised pro wrestling. Thank you Mick Foley for your years of entertainment.
They brought stuff to a wider mainstream US audience. Barbed wire had been used since at least the ‘80s in Puerto Rico, Japan and parts of the US. Thumbtacks came around more in the 90s and were still relatively new in pro wrestling once he came to WWF tmk.

Heyyy @Kickin it with Ross man bro I’m extremely glad and grateful 😢😢😢😊😊❤❤❤❤💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 to watch it with you and the people that watch it as well. Man Mick Foley is my other favorite Pro-Wrestler as well AKA “The Three Faces Of Foley” Cactus 🌵 Jack, Mankind & Dude Love ❤️. My favorite Match of All-Time With Mick Foley is a lot of them but the three are With Versus 🆚 against Adam Copeland “Edge” at Wrestlemania 22 w/ Lita Hardcore Match & Randy Orton at Backlash 2004 in a Hardcore Match and the one and only Hell In A Cell Match vs The Undertaker. Again thank you 🙏🏾 again Ross for putting this out there to remind us and let’s us remember this guy “Foley is God” Mick Foley
WCW not only made a grave error by spoiling the Rock/Foley RAW title match, but they compounded it that night, but doing the 'Finger Point of Doom' (yes that was that very same night), between Hogan and Nash.
I vividly remember watching the HIAC match live on ppv. Only one other time did a match come close in making me feel the same way, that being Cody vs Seth HIAC match. What people forget is at that time, nobody really cared about Mick since he was actually a heel. That changed quickly, and he was never a heel again. People actually cheered for him when he came out to screw Stone Cold later that night.
Ross idk if u know but Mick Foley announced that he is coming out of retirement to have a Texas death match in Japan he made this announcement like a week ago. A lot of fans are telling him not to.
My favorite matches from Mick Foley: Mankind vs Undertaker Buried Alive & Hell in a Cell Cactus Jack vs Triple H Royal Rumble & No Way Out 2000 Cactus Jack vs Randy Orton Backlash 2004 Mick Foley vs Edge WrestleMania 22 Big Time

I got an underrated gem as my favorite foley match. Mankind vs Hbk in your house: mind games 96 for the world title. That match is probably mick’s greatest no stipulation one on one match. Hbk had to tap in to being just as violent as mick during a time when his ring style was flashy & technical. A true clash of styles
Foley got paid $300 in 95 money. The Stadium drew 28k people so yes he probably should have gotten paid a bit more but this was 90’s IWA Japan and I’m almost sure there was Yakuza/Japanese mafia involvement in that promotion at that time and it’s likely the majority of the ticket profit would have gone to the Yakuza first then the promotion it’s self then the venue cost, medics, and other stuff, after that likely the show runners and then finally the wrestlers. USA is generally the highest paying pro wrestling scene especially in the past 20ish years but $300 in ‘95 would have likely been more than what he would have been getting in the USA at the time he was mostly doing indies and the occasional ECW show where he’d probably make $0-100 on these shows at best
He also suffered legit 2nd degree burns in the KOTD tournament. They used legit C4 explosive boards and it did burn both him and Terry Funk but he got the worst of it tmk
