I stumbled upon the "Swept Away" video and it moved me, I've been hooked ever since. Plus he covers people like Neil Young & John Lennon. The world needs more of him. A true artist.
Jake Bugg... my latest obsession. What a talent! Listening is one thing, but watching him is also mesmerizing. And amazingly in these days of lyric mumbling, over modulation, and always yelling the melody (if it even exists), he enunciates with clarity and doesn't render a single note into 12.. So refreshing! Thanks, William. Go Jake!
He was featured (again) on Last Call hosted by Carson Dally just the other night. I think he was also on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon (?) recently as well.
Sometimes,,it feels and sounds like Jake has travelled hear in a time machine,as a musician from the late 50s/60s era,and I freaking love it,what a vibe!👌
ana júlia There’s no studio version of this song. The one on the album was recorded with his iPhone. I think he said they did several takes, but none of them were as good as the one that ended up on the album (the one recorded with his phone), so they just went with it. He also got the producer title for that song.
i love this first song it gives chills and tastes like a sweet and healthy treat not like a candy bar which is bad for you. but goood vibes out of this guy Bug
You can't pin this guy down musically witch is great! Just heard new single "What doesn't kill you"? Could be wrong on title but it's clear he ain't going away any time soon. Little buggers full of pure talent!
It's unusual for a singer to sound as good if not better live than on the album but Jake manages it. Just noticed that Bassist Tom Robertson occasionally does backing vocals as in `Kentucky' 2:03 ..... 2:503:23
it depends on the setting i noticed on big stages of great festivals like glastembury he screams and sounds more agresive more while on small stages he is calmer during the performance
The bassist in black is Tom Robertson and yes people do sometimes wonder if they're brothers but they're not. There's a video of him being interviewed here on TH-cam.
When his accents drips from those words he sings, it's like heaven to me. This kid is legend and I don't even think he knows JUST how good he is.
Couldn't agree more. Ken- tuucky. His guitar playing is sublime.

I agree. I am hooked on JB after watching him performed on America Idol. I think he is my idol from now on!

Awesome!
Everyone just stands there in awe and tries to hold in the tears when he sings Broken
Fantastic that someone so good looking and so so talented can come along out of the blue - Dylan eat your heart out ...
Brilliant, 2nd album signals hes gonna be around for a while :):)
Incredible when his accent is gone and he goes so low, on the Folsom Prison Blues song!! Great job!!
Great stuff
i love this first song it gives chills and tastes like a sweet and healthy treat not like a candy bar which is bad for you. but goood vibes out of this guy Bug
i wish i have the looks of jake, the hair i love it, his voise love it, his songs love it more. Seven nights sleep and i will see him in Amsterdam.
OMFG I think im in love with his new song Slumville Sunrise
GOD....THIS YOUNG MAN IS SO TALENTED. CANT STOP WATCHING HIS VIDEOS. HE IS SO REAL AND MODEST NOT LIKE ALL THE OTHER FAKE SINGERS OF THIS DAYS
The crowd are either zombies or just mesmerized by Jake's talent and looks.. and his band is tight too.
whats the name of the first song, anyone? its beautiful
really nice to see real talent amongst the sea of stale old sea weed
You can't pin this guy down musically witch is great! Just heard new single "What doesn't kill you"? Could be wrong on title but it's clear he ain't going away any time soon. Little buggers full of pure talent!
i love how he says die with no feeling its so cold haha. perfect for the lyrics
he is so perfect i want to die
Please don't :)
Don't do that! He needs you to bear his children.
This audience looks like it knows that it'll never hear or see anything as good, ever again. Hence , they appear as zombies that didn't make the cut.

Zenobe Vandaele
Yes and of course when he's tired since he drives himself quite hard.
Martindyna thats true
class for a kid im 40 this week and he's a cool dude, Donavan would be proud amazing. .so says the man noel
This kid has soul, blues and country built right into him. Kinda odd, since he is from England
mumford and sons?
Such a strange comment considering all the english blues artists since the. Dont think I really need to name them
simzie98 That was a joke, right?
Suzibird307 no
the rolling stones "the spider and the fly" , have a listen to that and rethink what you said ;)
broken
people are listening to the music, that is what music is for.
Can anyone tell me what's the name song before the last one?
Folsom Prison Blues
That's the best I've heard him sing broken live. Usually he is straining on the chorus
This guy is why JB is retiring.
just to clarify tip; what does JB despise the fans or the bands???
it's slumville sunrise, I think it will be on his second record.
WHy is the video out of synch?
Man, what can I say, huh? Amazing.
what does 'intimate concert' mean?
#Love
Whats the Song at 19:22 ?
Broken always just perfect!
😍😍😍😍😛😛😛😛😍
great performance, poor video editing
what is the song at the beginning?
fire
Jhon Eerick thx man
Shun Fai Tsang Fire ..it's on his first cd yet on that cd it's a home recording..hope he releases a full finished version.
There is a reason it's called a Intimate concert

That man in black looks like his brother. I wonder?
he's an only child
Roisin Cheetham he has a sister
The bassist in black is Tom Robertson and yes people do sometimes wonder if they're brothers but they're not.
There's a video of him being interviewed here on TH-cam.
