this song is what rumination over inevitable loss feels like. kind of how you stare at a memory from a third person point of view. at the time, you wouldn't imagine just how deeply a quotidian moment could ever be missed.
for better or worse, you would never even think about how 'you' from long, long into the passage of time would be gazing at that moment via a glass pane that separates you two, eyes filled with something so indescribable that words render themselves obsolete.
