How much can you consume raw without reaching the thujone toxicity limits? I found this growing luxuriantly all around my community park and have put a few sprigs in my wild-foraged salad but am wanting to up my dosage. Just wanna make sure I don't overdo it.
Hint: wormwood is extremely bitter. I make the tea and chill it, then follow it with a chaser of about a quarter cup of full-strength lime or lemon juice. Both wormwood and mugwort contain thujone, which stimulates vivid dreams.
