Not true, i drove 372 km/t with Mercedes in career mode. You are also taking the racing line in a other way, so all cars should be able to drive at least 4-8 km/t faster if you were racing the track correctly. I mean just look with Caterham, you are driving all over to the right instead of left, which means you took the cornor before to lightly...

Renault engines average speed: 352,25km/h Ferrari engines average speed: 357,6666666666666667km/h Mercedes engines average speed: 364km/h So yeah... Mercedes engines are best at straight speed. Of course it depends about car's aerodynamic designs. But still it's not fair: Renault engine has massive 80 horsepowers less than Mercedes engine.
Yeah the teams using Mercedes engines have an huge advantage and I hope teams such as Ferrari and McLaren will be able to win some races next year. I don't want to see a Mercedes driver on the podium every grand prix :P
