I found method of eating burgers that has revolutionized my sandwich eating. You know how all the toppings get pushed out the back side of the burger? Instead of taking a bite and getting some of the top and bottom bun, just get the filling and one of the buns. It doesn't squeeze the buns together and prevents the toppings from sliding out the back. Then once you take a few bites of one bug and the inside, switch to the other bun and the inside. Life changing.
Too much salt, don’t fry cracked pepper it turns bitter. Just add pepper to you patties or steaks after you have fried them. Fresh cracked pepper tastes much better 😊
To the bottom: Burger sauce, tomato and pickles. Then the patty. The sauce and the moisture from tomato, pickles and patty keep them solid. On top of the cheese length wise cut salad. On the lid the sauce. Thus the cheese and the sauce keep the lettuce in place. Solid burger.
thanks for the tips chef Trevor but I learned a lot of this by myself by trial and error when I was 10 but I must say chopped onions on both ends just makes sense especially if you love onions
I prefer to put cheese between the patty and Lettuce/tomato to stop the salad type items from getting too warm and wilting, even if I have to use two different slices of cheese, which I usually use sliced cheddar instead of American cheese because I prefer the flavor profile, same as using butter instead of oil
lets be honest if you wanna good burger, you gotta learn how to season that burger, you gotta put salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, Worcestershire sause, and maybe Italian if you like it
idk if its just where i live but i hate thin patties, but it makes sense now, since it takes me almost half an hour to make burgers. Quick an easy, thanks!
The bottomings also prevent the juices to soak into the bottom bun. At this point its preference, but if you want a meatier taste, simply flip the burger upside down so the meat toaches the tongue first. Yes it does make a difference.
Burger tip. Don't make your burger like this. Roll meat into ball. Smash burger into pan thin till cracking a part. Flip and melt cheese to make patty stay together
Never understood having the burger at the bottom and other bits at the top. When that happens the patty causes the bottom bun to go soggy. Put the patty on top and the juices will go through the toppings and not the bun.
Oh my god. THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THE SALT ON TOP AND NOT MIXED INTO THE BURGER. I can't even tell you how many people I know make the mistake of drying out their burgers by mixing the salt into the beef.
"instead of topping, try bottoming" understandable
usefull information
As a bo- wait wrong comment section
Me switch "yall have preferences?"
*aggressively takes notes*
One does not simply, try, bottoming

Perfect! Another tip is to season your tomatos
I love how american cheese is absolutely inedible everywhere except on a burger. Where it is absolutely heavenly.

Good burger!, remember always salt your tomatos
Wut? Really?
💯
I always remember to yeet them out the window because tomato doesn’t belong on burgers
Try coating the burger with BBQ sauce when cooking, it is actually good
No vegetable oil, use avocado oil; it taste better, sears better, and is better for you.
The last tip should be don't forget to wear sunscreen and reapply every 2 hours 😂😂
He's darker than Vi. Good Lord.

"Instead of toppings, try bottoming" you guys are just figuring that out now?
That first step is so important. It’s so stupid when you get served a burger that’s 25% patty.
Wait... Who doesn't want cheese with crisped edges?
if not butter, try grape seed oil (cheep at Costco). Also in it for the bottoming
"Really, really heavily toast your buns."
Instructions unclear, I know have 3rd degree burns on my butt
Couldn’t help but notice that Brody blinks like 100 times per minute
No. Searing the bread doesn't create a barrier that keeps juices out. It does however stiffen it up to not fall apart as easy

Randy would approve of the bottomings.
As a former professional burger flipper, I stand behind every technique he demonstrated. That bun needs to be crispayyyy
Too much salt, don’t fry cracked pepper it turns bitter. Just add pepper to you patties or steaks after you have fried them. Fresh cracked pepper tastes much better 😊
Don't add pepper until after you pull out of the pan. It burns really easily. Adding salt early is fine.
No vegetable oil, use 80/20 beef and butter the buns! 🍻
This looks better then anything at McDonald’s

Burger sauce, tomato and pickles. Then the patty. The sauce and the moisture from tomato, pickles and patty keep them solid. On top of the cheese length wise cut salad. On the lid the sauce. Thus the cheese and the sauce keep the lettuce in place.
Solid burger.
put dense veggies like tomatoes, onion and pickles in between meat patty and the lettuce to keep the lettuce cool and crispy as long as possible.
That tinfoil thing actually works - this amazing burger shop near my house does it and it makes the burgers taste so much better

Someone has been listening to Kenji's burger advice.
Mix your seasoning into the meat. Putting pepper on top like that will cause it to burn
“Go, go” The Most Influential Words I Have Ever Heard😂😂😂
lets be honest if you wanna good burger, you gotta learn how to season that burger, you gotta put salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, Worcestershire sause, and maybe Italian if you like it
at that point you dont have a burger anymore you have a salisbury steak without breadcrumbs
Put italian dressing on your burger after you flip it, and then flip it again and put a little more on. Trust me
idk if its just where i live but i hate thin patties, but it makes sense now, since it takes me almost half an hour to make burgers. Quick an easy, thanks!
So basically I can assemble my burger with toppings as long as I wrap it upside down to get the same affect.

Mythical Kitchen, Subscribed because your videos are so much fun!
A true burger master uses toppings AND bottomings
Me watching this not seeing anything wierd: "There's something wrong, I can feel it"
This legit could've been a 5 guys training video. They do all of these things (except for the oil when toasting buns).
Pepper shud be added last imo. It burns faster than salt like caramelizing sugar!
The Austin Evans of cooking. Except this Guy does a good job
That looks so good
If your using American cheese,
*No,I'm using the cheese from my uncle's house in uganda*

that's a top tier burger right there
Logic was never the same after the fall off
Baconator from Wendy's is still under rated even tho it a obvious 9.7/10
The way I view toppings is cold stuff on top anything else below the patty
Grip & Rip is crazy josh 😂😂

That looks delicious
Macdonald’s needs to take tips from this guy😮💨
For me grilling is always better and Gouda is underrated
First calculate that the paddy is EXACTLY 20% wider than the bun
Blinks 300 times at the beggining
I think the first step would be “light charcoal grill”.
Burger tip. Don't make your burger like this. Roll meat into ball. Smash burger into pan thin till cracking a part. Flip and melt cheese to make patty stay together
You can say better then In-N-Out. It's a low bar, so pretty safe claim

This idea that putting the Patty on top of the toppings as opposed to Vice versa in some way negates the slippage is just factually wrong.

I always put my toppings on the bottom I hate how most places put everything on top of the cheese
The only thing that was missing is bacon and barbecue sauce can't forget the barbecue sauce
He looks like Austin Evans but for junk food
The 6th step I cannot do because I currently have no friends

The Gordon Ramsay rule. "Put lettuce on the bottom to protect the bun"
Every time I look at u I see the diamond in the burrito.
Ya don’t say that you don’t wanna start a fight over in and out burger
Butter. Bacon grease even better
I like my cheese completely melted
Might try it. But then again, the majority will do it as they feel
I prefer my patties just a little bit thicker.
Tip 2 is literally useless. The patty cooks really fast so adding the cheese early is sensible
