You should do a series were you take a bunch of crappy players (low 60's, or beneath) and try to grow them as high as you can. Would certainly watch that.
I saw something like Steen before, in NHL 18 I traded Jordan Eberle to clear cap, he was then traded from Jersey to Edmonton and he put up 94 points and the next season he was 89 overall

When drafting look at the players ratings for guessing their overall. Straight A's you can bet the are between 75-80, Straight B's 70-75 and so on. Just FYI dude. Keep up the great vids, love the cup or bust series. I'd like to see you do a draft series, only use players you draft on expansion team...

I've come to notice that the "average" team usually always beats the human team but those contending champion elite teams, the human team will sweep them
You should assemble all od your super teams you have made once you're done and make them battle in one last sim to end the cup or bust series (or season :)
The Canucks players were very high poise verse your team. There are a few teams like that in years 1-6 in Franchise. IF the team makes the playoffs they usually go deep. FYI it's PET - ER - SON not PETER - SUN
TacTix if you do finish this series with NHL 19. Give some consideration to restarting with a 5 year sim and you have to win Twice instead of once. That way when you draft prospects it’s more like an actual Cup or Bust. Just a thought. Cheers!

Then Schwartz, fabbri, and Hoffman on the third line or u could of brought bozak or steen back and replace him with Hoffman and made it Thomas, barbashev and Hoffman. And u should of kept edmondson to play with parayko and kept josi and petro, then put the dude that played with parayko with Dunn. U should of kept quick even though I hate him in real life and had grubauer in for a backup but you probably couldn’t do this because of the salary but if you could work a way around it and get it done, then the blues would be the best team in the league and hopefully win the Stanley cup.
I tried this and did your rules and won the cup my second season making the same trades you did no offseason additions beating the caps in game 7 after being down 3-0
