Why not wait to play when the remasters come where maybe you’ll have a better opinion about the game potentially? Not say you’ll like the game any better, but maybe with all the improvements it could be a lot more enjoyable
@ Oh okay, yeah good idea. lol I haven’t played it since like 2010. I guess I should have done the same. I replayed 1-4 before those remasters but never got around to Chronicles and this one. Hoping for the twin pistols as it always bothered me that there was just two empty holsters 😂
@@AustinR-j4mbecause the Remasters are a pile of Gen Z Garbage, these are the originals, developed by the original team core design , no matter how many flaws they have, they are the best ones, the best way to play AOD is on PC with some mods to fix bugs, they don’t change the look or feel of the game
It's like we played different games... Prapare for the wall of text. Sorry for the possible typos in advance 😅 The remasters, for me, only improved the originals. And no wonder! They were made by the fans of this franchise for the fans. They are still TR games, they feel like TR, but now they look much better, they are optimized for modern platforms, and they heve a lot of cool details. And we got more than just a better graphics: - modern controls, which feel weird at the begging, but, once you understand, how they work and get used to it, then it will be a very enjoyable expirience. Heck, even speedrunners are praising them 😅; - tons of achievements that will not only challenge your gaming skills, but will encourage you to learn new things about the games; - photomode which I had a lot fun with, and the ability to switch between the og and modern graphics on-the-go, which is pretty cool, imo. And you can now change Lara's outfits, that is pretty cool too; - new game+ mode, which is basically a hard mode now, became a lot interesting and challenging. I loved classic TRs before and the remasters made me love them even more. I can now even enjoy playing TR3 and I never liked it before 😅 I'm pretty sure, that TR 4 and 5 will be a good remasters. When it comes to TRAOD... This game was doomed to fail from the beginning. It was rushed and it was cut a lot. And a well developed game doesn't need fixes and mods to be enjoyable and comfortably playable, that's all I can say 🤷♀️ For me personally, AOD didn't feel like TR at all... I don't know if the remasters will be able to improve AOD, we will see when it comes out. Maybe it will change my feelings about this game, who knows?..🤔

I played this game long time ago, barely remember it. Wanted to refresh my memory, so that I could compare the old and new versions.
