I remember all the old guys metal detecting when I was a kid. Now I'm an old guy waiting for the ground to thaw so I can go detecting.
It's good to see so many people enjoying the hobby.
I agree, nice to see so many love the hobby! I can’t wait to get back out and dig - been a tough winter!
Jason is a gentleman, neat to see you team up with him and the rest of the gang .😉🇨🇦
Great guy! I’ve known Jason for 6 years now and he’s become a good friend. Always a blast to dig with him and the crew!
What a fun few days Steph!! Highly enjoyed this one!!! Congrats to all!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
Awesome! Those were amazing finds…and cape cod is stunning!
Thank you! It’s an awesome place to visit and dig!
Cape Cod surely didn't disappoint! You were right. Part 2 was just as good as part 1. What a good time detecting with quarter hoarders! Keep on digging, Stef. Catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
Thank you! We had such an awesome time!
I spent countless hours at School’s Out Arcade in the 1980s. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Erik said the same! Guess it was a popular spot!
I so admire your knowledge. I have been detecting for 12 years now and I love what I learn from you. Thank you. Well done,,,,,
Thank you so much! That’s always a huge compliment!
The clog clasp and knee buckle were both amazing! 😍 What a great trip and so many cool finds. Thank you for another awesome video!! ❤
Thanks Elisabeth! Can’t wait to go back!
I've been drooling over that knee buckle since we left.. great video steff.
Haha right?! At least I can play with it sometimes. 🥹🤣
What an amazing hunt! And it's so much fun to see the whole gang😊😊😊 thanks Stef ❤❤
Thank you! Always a great time digging with this group!
Sweet Digs on the Cape of Cod....loved that clog clasp, beautifully decorated.
Thank you! Definitely one of my favorite finds of the weekend!
I so much love watching all your videos. ❤
Thank you! Really appreciate that! 😊
Of course I saw Jason's upload a while ago, but I did not get the impression the trip was the roaring success it obviously was! Nic's knee buckle is spectacular; in fact there were many colonial-era relics. Really enjoyed your success, thank for for sharing it!
Thank you! He hasn’t released the footage from one of those fields yet - may come out later down the pipeline. Was such a fun weekend!
True Treasure Hunters right here in this video I love the finds, I love the History, I love the excitement and overall Fun Treasure adventure you were doing in Cape Cod
Thank you! It was a blast to hunt with everybody, and very fun to relive the hunts while editing! 😊
Thanks Stef for another fun video. Sincerely appreciate your efforts in the field and behind the scenes!
Thank you so much!
Great video. Love watching my favorite detectorists. 😀 thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Fortunately, we love getting together, it’ll happen again! 😊
OMG! So many cool finds!! Love the police badge!! WTG QH crew & gang!
Thanks Ally! That police badge was definitely a highlight of the weekend!
Gday Stef. Some great stuff came out of the ground from everyone. Nicks knee buckle is amazing. We have nothing like that down here. Really great to be out with mates. Looks like lots of banter which is the best part of detecting with friends. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Thanks Andrew! Was a great time and I loved Nic’s buckle, too!
Sheriff badge is really cool and that liard is killer! Lots of awesome finds Great hunt!
Thank you! We really had an awesome time at the Cape - can’t wait to get back there!
Hey Stef, a great hunt with a wonderful group of people. It looks like a good time… John
Thank you! It certainly was!
Nice finds for everyone
Thank you!
Good day buddy! Amazing❤❤❤
Thank you!
@StefDigs 🤸🤸🤸
Great Video Stef, Thanks Always 😊Indiana.
Thank you!
Good times Stef! I love that knew buckle! One thing that always eludes me! Nice pic of it on some Malachite, be careful with that stuff it's powerful! The ground is starting to soften in some fields here and now it's supposed to snow tomorrow and get cold again! 🥶 😡 toughest winter in a while!
Thank you! I love my gems and minerals, I’ve got just as many of those as I do relics, I think. 🤣 Yes, this winter has been brutal so far! I need to dig!
Wow that looks like so much fun. Awesome finds and a great video. Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for watching!
We surely do grow rocks up here- tough digging sometimes. The sandy soil really does treat the coins well, especially the down side, as the reverse of your first year Indian showed- it was perfect. Nice presentation! Here's hoping I get to meet you folks on our next trip.
Thank you! Yeah, we definitely hit some rocky soil in one field, wow! 😆 CT isn’t much better though, lol.
Great video, love the history! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
It looks really fun for you all, wishing I was there!
It was a blast!
That was fun Stef. Great video.
Thank you!
Awesome video and finds Stef. You Rock my friend.
Thank you!
Hey, Steph! Haven’t had one of your videos come up in a while even though I have been subscribed since 5 years ago. Wow has it been that long? Good to see more good finds. 😊
Could be, I’ve been on TH-cam for 5 and a half years now, lol! Make sure you hit the bell and select “All” for Notifications. I can see that TH-cam isn’t alerting people as often as usual and I’ve been regularly uploading every week!
Great finds, Steff
Thank you!
Great stuff Stef, I live in Ma. usually think of the Cape as my beach destination, thanks for highlighting the great history of this special place.
Thank you! It’s a special place!
👍👍
Man Stef definitely looks like a great time. Love the Klog Buckle you found. Im sure i spelt that wrong. What a cool find. Nick Knee Buckle and the Dandy Button are incredible. Jason SLQ. The 1600s Copper that was found so cool to see everyone find. Take Care Stef Crazie Digging
Thank you! It was a stellar trip to the Cape!
Awesome finds!
Thank you!
How fun was that?!!!
@@maryjanezanelli8661 absolute blast for sure!
The token is from School's Out arcade. It was in the Kmart plaza, Hyannis, in the 1980's. Spent (wasted) countless hours in that place.
Sounds like it was an active arcade! Heard a few people reminisce in the comments!
Nice knee buckle. I prefer horse tack, esp harness. But all the personal daily life details are wonderful.
@@olivei2484 I love the knee buckle! That’s interesting you prefer horse tack - I do love rosettes! Haven’t found one of those in a while.
@@StefDigs I drive horses as a hobby.
@ that’s awesome! I can see why you enjoy finding horse tack so much! 😊
Clog clasp is more likely towards the 16s--killer find!
Thank you, my friend! I should’ve just asked you - I was finding conflicting information on dating those, but I did hear some time back that they could date as far back as the 17th century, hence my initial reaction! 😆 Love finding those and I rarely do!
@ theyre not common finds at all! I had to ask someone to share one for my book.
@ I’ll bet! I rarely see anybody dig them - we could get on a tangent about skipping low tones, but… 😆
@ haha! Tangent/Rant! 🤣
Please let me know in advance if you are ever in the Scituate, MA., area. Would love to meet up with you all for the day.
Are the little bumps pitting from say rust/corrosion or are they too uniform? From the looks it looks like they've pushed the plating out of the way at 18:45 you can see the bump on the right has pushed the other metal outward.
I think it’s corrosion, just a strange pattern for it! It’s like looking at cloud shapes, hah!
@@StefDigs Haha, yeah I actually use that analogy often. It can be very much like looking at clouds. Especially when it comes to IDing coins/buttons.
@ 100%! 😂
Love it! Awesome stuff. Stay dirty 👍
Thanks Wayne!
Awesome finds and friends! I'll be seeing Jason and Doug again next month in East Missouri! Any chance your coming to Greenville?
Thank you! Only events I have lined up right now is a group digging trip in a couple of weeks, followed by Digstock in March (which is a hike as it stands, since we like to drive it lol). One of these days!
Better jealous than envious.
Indeed! And I get to enjoy staring at it in the curio at home, I’m happy it’s here. 😊
P.S. I absolutely love Dog Tag Doug
How lucky can one man get? Thanks Mandy
@dogtagdoug6751 💙 your welcome
He’s pretty great, not gonna lie!
Bellissime monete, un saluto dal Italy
@@dan.nic.metaldetector thanks for watching!
I’m going to use the word, “drool worthy”! Actually two words.😊
“Dog Tag Doug’s Drool-Worthy Dog Slobber” is a mouthful for a squirt bottle, but I think it should be amended anyway. 😂
Great hunt! Always curious, at what year do we stop rubbing silver Rosie's? Inquiring minds want to know!
Thank you! Haha, I would rub every one I found - but I’ve only gotten to do it once in almost 8 years, if you can believe it. The places I normally hunt are remote and void of clad or modern silver.
I don't think that's the Deputys name on the badge. I'm pretty sure that's the sheriff's name.
Good info, thank you!
ON Cape Cod...
In / on / everywhere? 🤣
"Thumb Punch" Is that a legal move?
Hah! Good response to that term! 🤣
can a metal detector help me find my mind i lost it years ago
😂🤣😂🤣.
still learning my nox 900 and the 3 coils.
,6" ,11" ,15".
if the stone has flashes of blue & orange its a cz. junk.
have a good day boss you can email the GIA to ask about the jewelry you find or find some one with a gia cert. so you can get the info on the jewelry you find.
have a good day.
Haha, I wish a metal detector worked like that sometimes. 😂 I still haven’t looked at the “stone” under magnification but I have to imagine it’s a CZ, given the ring isn’t a precious metal (likely tungsten).
Cool finds. Love the shoebuckles.
Thank you! Those are always a favorite!
