Filming Fashion - PART 2 - LOS ANGELES Location shoot

This series looks at some of the location fashion shoots we work on.
A lot of the time due to the nature of these shoots we'll be working with a small crew and minimal equipment.
For these shoots in LA we basically found nice framing and where possible added something in with a Lastolite HALO reflector.
Mostly it was a case of using the environment and going backlit.

How'd you find and get licensing for the music? The last shoot you showed was pure genius. I'd like to use that flare stick technique!

The music will all be from a stock site such as Musicbed, Premium Beat or Audio Network. Glad you liked it, flare sticks are a lot of fun!

It’s the PD movie with a thumb wheel. Has worked really well in both remote and all in one run and gun situations 👍🏻

Hi, If I personally had to commit to a single lens it would be a 50mm on full frame. If you're on a APS-C sensor possibly a 35mm, pretty much any of the recent crop of cameras will work perfectly well. What's your budget?
