I'm pretty sure there's a link between their Aether cores and I don't mean the one created after they destroyed the other one.
So after re-watching the story with a more relaxed and open mind and better attention to details to better understand I managed to reframe my view on Sylus.
If you can believe it, the fear I felt turned into a kind of respect combined with a sense of intrigue. Yes, he is insane for putting his life in danger like he does but from what I got he's not as spontaneous as he may seem but rather quite calculated.
Still constructing my own jigsaw on him. 🤔
i know 'certain types' of players have a tendency of criticizing sylus myth story but really with the other LI we didn't have any issues getting along in the common route meanwhile with sylus besides starting really shaky in his own route theres only crumbs of his existence in the common route. the spending a few days with him is very necessary i especially love the item we get for completing everything the. incomplete jigsaw puzzle is such a nice way to see their relationship. they're both trying to piece together who the other really is.
there's already hints of their past life and devs seem to really like gatekeeping stuff about sylus in general lol, im sure the next limited myth is going to show more of their past.

It's interesting to me because Sylus makes the MC put herself through a lot of stress trying to keep up with him in this Myth... and I'm pretty sure he falls in love with her all over again in the process. To the degree that he sort of realizes at the end that he isn't being fair to her.
I actually think this adds kind of another layer to Night of Secrecy. And SPOILERS for Night of Secrecy:
Because it's not that he doesn't think she's capable. If we go by the events of this Myth, she's already more than proven herself. The answer is in Sylus's own words: "No one should be forced to keep up with someone else." I think perhaps it's here that he resolves to keep his relationship with the MC out of his more dangerous work (because if I recall correctly, there aren't any other memories we've had where he gets her involved in his business, other than Razor's Grip, which... I believe happens before Captivating Moment based on certain context and the way he treats her). He knows she CAN keep up with him --- rather, he just doesn't want to see her have to. There's point where she's even having dreams about tending to his wounds because she feels like there's always trouble when he's around, and his response is to suggest they make more pleasant memories together so she'll have better dreams. This tells me he wants a place in her life but also her to be able to live it without him complicating things and putting her in further danger due to his work in Onychinus.
The problem is that he still tries to make that decision for her when she doesn't want it. And so she decides to just take what she wants rather than wait for him to give it, and Sylus, being Sylus, respects her all the more as a result. As of Night of Secrecy, he's no longer "forcing her to keep up," nor is he forcing her to stay out of it. She's making the choice for herself.
And I honestly can't believe I'm so invested in this fictional relationship, but I just keep uncovering more interesting complexities T.T

I'm not sure. But maybe for this you have to understand the overall lore of love and deepspace. I recently saw a video and taking that into consideration I can see why sylus one is plain... But it's only one myth... More contents have yet to be released. So, in future we will know if he has anything magic like...
I think because he's still a new character.. They can't just release the past he had with MC just like that since we just got a few chapters about him, but we are slowly getting to know about his past with MC by listening to what he said about his past life

@axenceglory In case you own the card you have to level it up. you will get a shard all 20 levels.
leveling up a myth card takes time!
it is not supposed to be done a few days.
