They offered them on ebay or 15.-€ including shipping.....now they are 20.-€. I bought one for my TS-590SG a few Years ago.. A waste of Money. It was just a Piece of Junk. Tnx for your Video & happy Weekend. 73 de Uncle Günter 💯👌🙋♂
Thanks for your useful info! But frequency stability is only one aspect. Another would be a look on the noise. Is it getting better or worse after installing it?
Good point. I’ll have a look into it and perhaps post results in the next video where I want to try and measure the drift as a function of temperature.
I don’t have the yaesu tcxo. I just swapped the stock crystal oscillator which was ok because I did aligned it. The problem is that is very temperature sensitive. There comes the chinese tcxo, much more stable.
purchased one, as i've installed it mu 857 became absolutely unusable. sensivity wend down of 30 db and power output decrease at 80W. putted back the original and everything works fine. those chinese oscillators are pure garbage

Grazie un saluto dalla Scozia
Tnx for this info
You gets what you pay for.
How far off was the factory yaesu TCXO?

@@IZ0MTW Oh I see, so the original crystal from Yaesu is not temperature compensated.
