I think what makes this show special above all is how authentically and unapologetically it captures the social dynamics of those environments. We all wanted to be Thad or Alex in high school, we all wanted to be top football players and party and get all the women, and this show better than any captures those characters that we all wanted to be.

Bogdan Milen number of people in the US you mean, this show wasn't aired anywhere else around the world. The only place i can view it would be online illegally or on american netflix and i had never heard of it until i got american netflix and seen it on there and gave it a try.
The post success on Netflix is doing this show really good. Hopefully the movie is a success then this might secure a reboot of the series for at least a few more seasons.

It's a bummer how this show wasn't so well known in the world. I just knew about it a couple of months ago and told like 50 friends to go watch it, and they told more friends to go watch it. All of them have the same feeling: there should be more seasons! (Im from Perú by the way)

I wish the fans today knew about Blue Mountain State when it was actually airing so it could get the ratings it deserved. Such a great show it was awful that it got cancelled, but at least they got what we were asking for and we got a BMS Movie.

this show was one that caught on among my deployed brethren and myself. people shared drives and obviously people were interested in stuff like dexter or the office, but the people that came across the BMS stuff loved it and it really helped during those days because of how much we wanted to be home doing crazy shit, but they are also a team and have to accomplish whatever it is either on the field or off, as a group. there wasn't a problem a character had in this show that didn't get teammates involved.
This show deserves more credit
This show will always be in my heart! Even on my last day I'd reminisce the memories connected to this show.
