Is not easy to share personal depress stuff with people let alone on social media , both 3 of them should feel immensely proud of yourself, society always protray family nucleus as the norm but there are people who are single, divorce and others and even with the prefect family people still have their own set of struggle, and they need to have support system for them to voice their struggle , my friend of 23 years was not around anymore and we all wish we could do something more, everyone need a listening ear please do not judge and listen and help wherever you can by standing by them ❤

Could you guys do a video on insomnia as well? I find this quite common in Singapore society and insomnia is not just about not been able to fall and stay asleep, but also all the anxious thoughts at night

I experienced the same as Cassandra but one thing that’s different between her and me is that she has friends around, however I don’t have any. I am on the route similar to her but I’m all alone in this route. I don’t have a true friend, nor a best friend to be there with me on this journey. Only have my mum along with this journey.

Be mindful that anyone who despise or resent you is actually fearful of you....Meaning you're better than them. So take that as a compliment and thanks them.

I have a question for you all, I am a new TH-camr but a while back I stopped the depression meds. Haven't had a job for over a month, I feel like all of my priorities are backwards. Finding myself wanting to do everything else but finding a job. Is this typically how most people feel when they are depressed. Yeah, I probably decided to not take them thinking I will be fine, bad bad idea. Just wanted others thoughts on it. I really need to speak to the person I see I guess.

Just my two cents…. A lot of the mental health issues are stemmed from trauma. But I think the psychiatric profession is too quick in prescribing meds and handing out pills like candy, and then coming off of them can be a challenge for many. Bottom line is addressing trauma and having non-pharmaceutical interventions as the first line of treatment are key. Be an informed patient who acknowledges your own agency, and do not take the doctors’ words wholesale, especially when they say it will “never stop.” Do not let people extinguish that light at the end of the tunnel.
