    Ever since Jamie started to change her style...men especially would say weird comments to her. It's definitely a sensitive topic to her and 💯 he was in the wrong. The point tho is that they talked and he learned. HE IS LEARNING and they patched things up. So many influencers that apologies for the sake of getting away from their actions but he confronted his mistake and talked with Jamie.

      I feel like any woman in S. Korea who's even a little bit sexy or sultry or whatever gets hated on by male knets because they prefer their women submissive and cutesy. Idk man it's weird but that can also be lots of men outside of S. Korea.

    Unfortunately in this situation, Jae was someone who needed to personally experience the consequences of his words/actions before being able to take it seriously. With his incidents before this, his words didn’t directly affect him or the people around him. Yes, it hurt people and fans who supported him but, tbvh, he doesn’t know you and he doesn’t have a real reason to legitimately care about you or your feelings. We all know how easy it is to write off the opinions of some randoms, especially if it’s on the internet and I don’t blame him for finding it hard to take social media seriously because of how the internet tends to overreact and troll. I don’t like what he said about Jaime but, I don’t think he’s a bad guy. Like Jae said, people who have been with him since the beginning know what kind of person he is. He’s got flaws, he makes mistakes, and he says things w/o thinking like the rest of us. He’s trying his best and I feel like so many people, esp netizens and kpop fans who are so used to his idol image and spotless track record, hold him to such a high standard that even he can’t keep up with it.
    This stream, if anything, should have shown fans and haters alike that he’s trying. He and Jamie worked it out and she’s accepted his apology. That’s all that matters at the end of all this tbvh. I’m just glad that Jae has taken time to reflect and learn from his mistakes, something many celebrities and people w influence rarely do.

    The fact that he’s actually PROMISING and learning to not mess up and to think more is already great. Most influencers “apology videos” are like
    “I am so sorry to everyone I hurt *sob* but I don’t think *sniff* that I’m in the wrong here *sob* and I think everyone should not be mad at me” and then they don’t even apologize at all. He apologized so much though. Most influencers just say they won’t do it again and 3 days later they are already doing it all over again
    The fact that they talked IN PERSON is nice. The fact that he realized he was in the wrong and now they are on good terms again makes me feel so happy. it’s just the fact that he actually is learning unlike most tiktokers is amazing
    Anyways stan Jamie and DAY6 (ot5) for clear skin✨

      Thisss. My brother is 33 and he still fucks up all the time. Same with my friend's friend from High school, he's 30 and he fucks up a lot and says some weird-ass stuff. People are forever growing and learning. People are going to make mistakes forever but they always learned from them and their apology is always sincere, especially if they hurt a person. It's all about the intentions, being genuine, learning from it, and apologizing if someone was hurt in the process of it all.

  • @believeinhope1
    @believeinhope1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +112

    What's important that he learned his lesson and he apologized to Jamie. People make mistakes and you have to grow and learn from it. I'm sure both of them want to move on from it especially Jamie. Don't think she wants to be keep reminded of this incident if people keep talking about it. You're not her, I am not her, so we don't get to say what she feels. Also I look at it this way, sure what he did was wrong but he at least he is not like other celebrities who are in the hot water because of their scandals like example power trip someone, trying to force someone for sexual favors, sexual harassment, abusing their power. You gotta look for the lesser evil.
    I want him to keep making music the way he wants. I like him as a artist, as a person I have neutral feelings because I don't really know him as person.

    I know this happened long ago, but I still see people hating on Jae. Actually who are we to comment on this issue even after this happened long ago. Okay he’s wrong for calling her a th*t as a joke, he was so wrong for that and I agree to that. But people this man, he came to live to talk to the people (who gave him suicidal tweets/messages) about the whole after incident even though it’s not needed, as long as it’s okay between Jamie and Jae then what’s the fucking need to tell us?! And there are some k-pop stans who take/worship idols as some innocents angels and as god/goddess. You are wrong for doing that in the 1st place. These idols are just like us, they are humans. And what are we? We are some stupid creatures who make mistakes, reflect on it and apologize. That is what we humans are. I bet all of us make mistakes, and apologize for it too. I bet it was hard for him to share all of this, especially when hate comments were sent, don’t you all have patience for what that man has to say? The funny thing is that some people kept hating on Jae when they literally didn’t even know him💀 They just got to know Jae’s ‘that’ image because of this issue.
    And people who’s commenting ‘He’s a grown ass man. He should know what to say and not to.’ Man, he said that as a joke and duh I know that calling men/women such things are not jokes but I bet he said that due to their friendship, and just because a person is an adult doesn’t mean that he/she can’t make mistakes or say something hurtful.
    What important here is that Jae acknowledged from his mistake, a person learns through their mistakes as you all know. He and his family talked out with Jamie and her family. I hope both of them are doing healthy and are happy.

    I'm really glad that Jae is finally having time to think on what he's said and how he's been acting recently and I accept the fact that Jamie accepted his apology and I also appreciate that he stood up for Jamie when someone said she overreacted and validated her feelings but I don't support him as a fan anymore. He says he's going to clean his mouth and he's gained perspective but until I see those changes happen I'm going to keep my distance.

  • @tiffanykim2773
    @tiffanykim2773 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Here's the thing because it happens to me or used to alot (with a particular friends well two of them and I began to feel like they were haters) friends say things as jokes that are sometimes funny but sometimes *NOT* They think it's hilarious and might not understand how much it actually hurts you and you might think they should know better but they don't always do (but sometimes some people disguised as friends truly are haters and stuff like this can be a major wake up call but not always). That being said that doesn't make it right and stuff like that can and will make you question your friendships with people. Especially if they make your pain into a joke knowingly or unknowingly. I'm glad he apologized and they worked it out but I don't think Jae's time on the internet is as helpful this time around as it was before when JYP eventually made him give it up. I feel like he needs a break because he's already a constant target for haters and social media activists alike or social media warriors. Just to close off my long ass comment there are some people *friends* that I can joke about almost anything with but we know what's off limits because it gets too real and too close to home so I'm thankful for that because even the strongest of people (seemingly) can get affected by stuff like what happened between Jae and Jamie.

      It’s a word that has no meaning to Jaes culture. I’m my personal opinion it doesn’t mean anything. Where he was wrong was thinking that everybody felt that way especially because Koreans are more uptight. But be completely honest with yourself if anybody else said that word it wouldn’t have been a problem . You don’t have to support him
