Michael tells AJ about the break up with his girlfriend, and that he ended up drinking with Brenda. Meanwhile, Brenda and Carly get in a cat fight!

AJ's spit take was right on cue. They keep trying to have other characters do it, it's not the same. Sean Kanan had great comedic timing.

I remember an old scene between AJ, Brenda and Jason Quartermaine, before the Quartermaines adopted Emily. Brenda used to be like family to them and AJ & Jason told Brenda she officially their sister, because that’s how they see her. It would have been better writing if AJ was disgusted over this and went off on Brenda. We didn’t get enough scenes of him being a protective father
@@MistaLovaMan I agree with this... it was funny in one sense but in another it was typical AJ not caring how this was truly deeply messing with Michael's brain... ALSO - Carly is completely justified and right about what Brenda was doing... she did use Michael to mess with Carly.... Every mother would have been upset that Michael slept with Brenda - especially knowing all the history - BRENDA was absolutely treating Michael badly here... I don't care what anyone says.
I never tire of this video, hysterical. All the actors were great in these scenes.

From AJ’s warped perspective… but given the number of years and children Sonny and Jax had with Carly… in my mind there’s not question they loved Carly as much or more than they loved Brenda
Well Jax always loved Brenda but this time he broke up with her for nothing. Because Michael sleeping with Brenda is better and it means that Michael and Brenda are adults and they can have a sexual relationship together and that will be good. Hey Carly you're completely wrong about everything because Michael isn't a kid anymore because Michael is a mature adult unlike you.
I was such a fan of the return of AJ storyline. I was not happy with Billy Warlock's take on AJ and how he harbored such a deep resentment of Jason. I know it was justified, but I'm glad that Kanan erased that part of AJ and came back to Port Charles as a new man

I am disgusted with everyone in this scene, except Carly. AJ is a joke of a father. I know what Carly and Sonny did awful things to him, but I cannot see myself wanting to raise a child with him when this is how he reacts to his son in distress. I get that he hates Sonny and Carly and this is a satisfying moment for him, but he should have offered some support and wisdom, and not act like his frat brother. And he should realize how sick this situation is. Brenda was his step mother! He's disgusting. And speaking of which, Brenda even pretending to sleep with Michael is despicable. She's despicable for pretending to sleep with him to get back at Carly, she's despicable for not taking into account how this would affect Michael, and she's an idiot for not considering Sonny in all this. Totally agreed. Brenda is a sick person, she was for a very long time. So was Carly, I get that, but she has every right to be PO'd to hell. Brenda has always been a childish brat. Carly and Sonny have their share of childish behavior. Jason was the stable one for Michael growing up. And the lines are blurred considering they’re connecting when Michael’s an adult. But it was good he talked with him about his predisposition for alcoholism.
