V Rising - Raid chasing the shards - ZvZ Part 1

We woke up from the middle of our hibernation to find our front doors blasted and our back doors unblasted (good, I'm not into that). Upon arrival at the home of the perpetrator responsible for this heinous matter, a shocking discovery was made: shit was flying around. Multiple teams were fighting. chaos, blood, screams and trampled (unwatered) flowers. The shard guys were dismantling shards, moving them, and being toxic about it. So why not join the fun on the next day? Game's updating in a month anyway and we're sitting on a lot of resources.
And that's why they're telling me to water my flowers. It'll make sense at some point, maybe.

new to vrising pvp. what's the holy protection pot help with? is it static spells from players?

The damage from holy servants (lightweavers, clerics, priests, paladins and devoted) is from the "holy" damage type, meaning drinking a holy resistance flask will heavily reduce the damage you take from these, and lightweavers already deal a high amount of damage so it is very important to take one on a raid. This is why militia brawlers can be good too, since they are a big threat and there's no potions against physical damage

GG! But is it just me, or you rarely use the Golem's "R" skill? It's a pretty nice tool to stun people, introduced in Gloomrot.

I've got 3100 hours in the game, I know about the golem spells ;) but it's too janky to land a hit both with R and shield. The R windup is too long and its radius too small, you can simply sidestep it if no one else is pressuring you. Shield doesn't work on teammates too close on you and also puts your space on a 30 second cooldown, which has killed me multiple times if my golem gets destroyed during this timeframe.
Might as well do basic slaps to deal moderate damage and displace enemies. Most players will burn their space or defensive cooldowns after getting slapped too.
