This was really impressive! But it’s definitely true that the total value of items used is highly affected by what you choose to pan. The expensive stuff adds up. But so does the drugstore stuff. There are some incredible values at the drugstore level.
You had a great 2023, that is a lot done! Diamond is the highest at Ulta and I am one! Lol! But it’s mostly from hair services, eyebrow services and a sprinkling of a few purchases here and there mostly by my kids or a few gifts! P.s. I bought a lip product and now I have another nude lip color 🙈
Great job, Alex! I used 71 makeup products up this year and my total was just over $1500. My video will go up next week, I think. I put mine together with all things beauty(skin, hair, body) and ended up using almost $4000 of products this year!😮 I LOVE all the shadow sticks. I have been watching and new you were gonna have a ton this year😂

This was awesome!! My focus last year was powder eyeshadow and I used up a ton. This year I want to focus on liquid shadows and I’m loving it!! They’re so easy to use and it looks like I put a lot of effort into my look when it really only took 5 minutes 🤣
I love watching this video from you every year! It’s so encouraging, even though living in a studio apartment I don’t think I would ever save all my products. But who knows, considering I don’t wear makeup daily and my makeup empties would be tiny in comparison, maybe I should give it a go just to see how I do 😜
Unfortunately the closest Sephora for me is over an hour away. I don’t want to keep this trash longer in the chance I end up that way some day 😔 I’ve kicked the bag long enough this past year 🤪
