A generator that has truly surprised me is the Champion model 100110. I bought it about 4 years ago. I used it on two storms. I got 26 hours on it. I sold it to a lady across the field from me. She was disconnected from the grid power over a dispute of some sort. This lady had fired up that generator every single day now for two years straight. It runs from about 8pm until around 6am. I hear it. I can hear the thing running all night long. Yeah I sometimes kick myself for selling her that generator because it’s a LOUD generator. Luckily her house is just far enough away to where the sound doesn’t keep me awake but I can definitely hear it running. 😂 but if anybody is looking for a “cheap” generator that can absolutely be run daily... check that model out.

That is a very interesting situation. So its basically running till its out of gas(10hrs at 50%). ~$25 a night in fuel...

@@Jtwizzle I suppose she probably does just that. 😂 guess it does run about a tank worth every night. She does fire it up during the daytime too sometimes. Thing runs a LOT.

Good vid brother , I wish you would have stressed the topic of the wonderful fuel we have these days having the ability to go bad relatively quickly and the problems that come along with it.
I just recently purchased a very similar generator from a gentleman who bought it , said it was hard to start , hard to pull , ran rough , and sometimes would backfire through the carb while trying to start it. He only ran it once , why he didn't return it is a mystery to me. However , maybe you should make a video on how to adjust the valves on one of these , it's super simple and now said generator purs like a kitten.

Did that still won't start, what's next problem, it only has 22-24 run hours on it, yes it's sat for 2-3 yrs, ran perfect, now won't start, what's your advice ?

I have a nearly identical genny that has a fuel leak behind the carb. Looks like fuel is pouring (!) from the black plastic spacer between the carb and the head. Any ideas or advice? Thanks.

If fuel is pouring anywhere, then the float (needle and seat) must be stuck. Pull the carb off and clean all the passages out. Should be pretty easy to do.

I dont know. Never seen the point in changing the oil annually if its never even been used. Just seems like a waste to me. Who knows. Would be curious to see lab results on the unused oil thats been sitting in the generator.
