Synopsis:
Lin Shuang, once a brilliant student at a top-tier university, ended up being a full-time mom. But she was betrayed and had to return to the workforce to fight for custody of her child. In her disheveled state, she met Gu Xu, her ex-classmate and now a talent from overseas. She confronted the challenges with Jiang Xi and Gu Xu, transforming into a professional from a homemaker, and fell in love with Gu Xu. With modern day cdramas a story about a maturer cast has proven to be the way to go in my experience. Less fluff more substance. So glad I watched this drama. It was so well done!

I am new in watching Chinese drama. This drama has exceptional character and acting. The acting is far superior to Hollywood.
OMG this drama is by far the best modern day series depicting the conflicts and dilemmas real adults face everyday. The struggles of family life, careers and betrayal and of course interferences and chaos caused by extended family members. The entire cast was chosen brilliantly and was incredibly believable in their roles. I can’t say enough of the two lead characters as they brought the drama to life. Xiao Ming Huang from a younger pretty face heartthrob to a middle aged sexy mature man was outstanding 😊 indeed. Great job by the entire cast 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.

This is an excellent drama, beautifully executed by these wonderful actors. The story told a realistic and adult depiction of problems experienced in real life. It handled betrayal, deception, chaotic relationships and a mature show of strength by two unlikely women who become allies in overcoming emotional adversity. Wonderful casting, strong story. Worth the watch.

Well Wei Ming is now realizing how good of a life he had, so sorry too late! This drama was awesome with a perfect ending!
It’s good to see Jiang Xi get closure with her mom and let her know about the hurt and resentment she has towards her.
I think my 2 favorite moments in this entire series were in this episode, when at the hockey game WL watches his daughter and LS as a family with Gu. He realizes he had it all, and threw it away. And the kiss at the wedding, along with Gu apologizing for how long it took them to get together. It was a very satisfying ending to an intriguing series. Bravo to all involved with creating this!

This drama is one of the best dramas I have seen. Thanks to the author, the director who chose the actors and a big applause to all the actors, they were great in their roles.👏👏Mr. Li Ze Feng (Wei Ming) played his role, albeit fantastically as a villain. 👍🤗

Best drama for 2023. It was satisfying to watch Wei Ming’s downfall as he gets told that he’s not smart as he think he is, he has no control over the three women he thought he could manipulate and even more satisfying to watch him see the daughter he threw away and only interacted with and be fatherly towards when it was convenient for him form a better father-daughter relationship with him and wanting him to do the things he used to do with her. Instead of appreciating and being grateful for what he had for the need to feel superior and for greed he lost everything.

The wedding ! She looked gorgeous!! - her dress was simple, unfussy and stunning! - he looked wonderful in the gorgeous and understated black suit and white shirt … dreamy. And together they looked just right !! ❤ I would have liked a snapshot of them with her daughter surrounded by well wishers to just top it off!!
I loved this picture because for once the mnwho cause the problem got what he deserve plus for once the women who were hurt took action. BRAVO to the writers and the actors of this film. I hope to see more.

I was happy and a little disappointed with the ending, I wanted to see Wei Ming tell Lin Shaung how much he regretted divorcing her and trying to ruin her life.
his arogant character would never allow himself to admit failure. he still sees himself right.
I think he does, if u see that part where he is in the park and thought he is seeing her. After to go to the hockey game too and see her with new family.
Thanks so much, I usually love the actor that played the main role, but in this drama I didn't like his character much, there wasn't any chemistry between the main couple

I’m happy for her that she got a good ending! After having a nightmare like her last husband she deserve to be happy! and I’m happy that both the cheaters had a crappy ending because that’s why they deserve! That stupid mistress that became the wife really thought she got a good man! No man that cheats is a good man!

In the end, Wei Ming couldn't accept the fact that everything was fallen apart due to his greed. No one was there for him or defended him when he was getting arrested. I am stunned that his selfish parents aren't there to see this so they can witnessed the downfall of their precious son they spoiled rotten for their benefits.
I like that Lin Shuang is a strong yet forgiven woman Jiang Xi is now one of her closest friends & I believe Jianyi will be too as Guoguo & her child are half siblings.

I stumbled across this series with English voice over and discovered that I totally loved it. The only problem was that the episodes, eventhough more than an hour long, were not in any particular order, and there was no clear title for the series. I did some investigating and discovered the name "Alliance." When I searched for it, I found these 36 episodes with English subs. I took my 2 days off from work and binge watched every single episode; having to read everything on the screen for translation. I must say, this was the best show I have watched in years! I loved it! The writers, the characters, and the actors are all A1!!!

I loved the storyline and the slow cooked plot development. But, i wanted a happier ending for Xi jiangi... A quick fast forward 3 years ahead to see her as a boss queen would have been nice....

I am surprised there are not more views, this is a wonderful mature drama more in line with reality. Will definitely recommend.
I was so satisfied Wei Ming went to jail. He did so much crap and thought he'd never be held accountable. The amount of smoke hs blew up everyone's a** was finally, finally outed. He should've seen the writing on the wall when his 2nd wife's parents showed outright disdain and disgust towards him. He thought he could use that child as a tool and his in-laws were not having it. I was so happy to see Ling Shuang get a man who will snd has stood by her, who respects and supports her and her choices. Jinxia has a strong man in Martin if she'll just take the chance. He's definitely not like her 2 exes, she can trust and rely on him. I'd have loved to see that included. One of the best things was thevunlikely friendship between the 2 women.

Everyone involved did excellent work to bring this project to its special conclusion. All important points were covered , although we all would like some fleshed out more. It was still a exceptional good series. My only complaint would be because i dont speak/read chinese would like to know actors names in english. They were fine actors deserve a larger audience

Блин, сколько интриг, сколько телодвижений и все в пустую. Это третья китайская дорама о мачо, мнивших себя хитросделанными, думающих, что все зависит от них, а жены рядом просто статисты, но жизнь расставила все по полочкам. В "Альянсе" первая жена умница, сумела подняться с колен. Жена прежде всего мать во всех трех дорамах, ребенок это зона ответственности мамы, если папа безответственен. В двух дорамах мужья слабаки, любители себя пожалеть несчастных, а в "Альянсе" матерый подлец и циник, который идет по женщинам, как по ступенькам, все выше и выше, предела подлой натуре нет. Китайский менталитет рулит. Хороша дорама.
