Hello Anna!! I am a med student from India I really enjoy your vlogs and it is motivational It is nice to see you setting apart time to read the Bible and spend time with God regularly
Wow want an amazing and inspiring video. Loved the background score. Sure your tips will be helpful for many. Trying not to see the notifications first thing is my favourite one❤
I enjoy your videos, Rohan, thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to film and edit them! One other thing: you seem to be eating a lot of eggs. Pls check out research on the link between eggs and prostate cancer!
Thank you! And thanks for letting me know about the association between eggs and prostate cancer. However, I've found 2 meta-analysis which conclude there is no association between egg consumption and risk of prostate cancer (Xie B, He H. No association between egg intake and prostate cancer risk: a meta-analysis. Asian Pac J Cancer Prev. 2012;13(9):4677-81. doi: 10.7314/apjcp.2012.13.9.4677. PMID: 23167401. and Keum N, Lee DH, Marchand N, Oh H, Liu H, Aune D, Greenwood DC, Giovannucci EL. Egg intake and cancers of the breast, ovary and prostate: a dose-response meta-analysis of prospective observational studies. Br J Nutr. 2015 Oct 14;114(7):1099-107. doi: 10.1017/S0007114515002135. Epub 2015 Aug 21. PMID: 26293984.)
@@RohanYesudian Thanks for the response, and for the references. Data Scientist here, and I have not read the meta-analyses, just an individual study somewhere some time ago, that's why I thought to flag it. So given the results - enjoy your eggs! 🙂
I like your friend's geeky joke. Rohan, I have a son who's just turned 12, currently finishing year 7 in a public school in London. His dream is to get into med school. It's my dream to help him get into Cambridge. Any words of advice on how to help my son fulfil his aspiration being in a public school, not grammar or private school?
The type of school you go to does not affect how the university application is processed. The best thing for your son would be to work hard and be exposed to as many fields as possible so he can decide what he is interested in and what he would like to study
@@RohanYesudian Dear Rohan, Thanks for your reply. My son is set on doing medicine. I would be grateful if you answer my questions on how to study, whether it's advisable to start practicing the UCAT from year 10 instead of waiting for 2 more years, doing past papers, kindly answer my queations.
I would love to help, but I'll be honest I've already shared all my advice on the medicine admissions process and studying tips on my channel. This playlist may be a good place to start: th-cam.com/play/PLceCVeYoGrHgxqimhVWPYTC-kcT4icghd.html. I also have an ebook which goes through the whole process: docs.google.com/document/d/11YOtBMt350IPiO7Mn_ht8v0Gu6zX8BIF/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=108550279405128650455&rtpof=true&sd=true Regarding UCAT preparation, 2 years is probably excessive. Most people can adequately prepare for the exam in a few months.

@@RohanYesudian much appreciated Rohan.
Is Cambridge worth the effort? Do they really overwhelm students with weekly courseworks and tight deadlines?
I would say it is worth the effort but it is hard work (mainly for the first 2 years, then gets easier)
You get up so early and now here in China it is the nearly midnight 😂
