22°53,23N / 75°51,85W Flamingo Cay - Jumentos
This is the most beutiful island in the Jumentos chain, south of the Exumas. When the wind is from the north or east, you take one of the two anchorages on the west side. When the wind is from the south, then the north bight is excellent. There is a marked trail along pools with orange shrimp to connect the anchorages. At the northern end you will find some corals to snorcle.
--- I am sailing with my Gemini 105MC catamaran NIRVANA every year to the central Bahamas, the island chain of the Exumas. In the summer hurricane season I leave my boat in Florida in the Indiantown Marina near Lake Okeechobee and fly home to Germany.
