Hey, everyone!
In this video, we open a box of 2022-23 OPC Platinum! There's one auto guaranteed and tons of inserts and parallels per box.
This year, in OPC Plat, we're looking for some inserts, parallels, and autos of fantastic players from this rookie crop such as Owen Power, Matt Boldy, Matty Beniers, Kent Johnson, Juraj Slafkovsky, Shane Wright, Dylan Guenther, and more!
OPC Plat has historically had some terrible surface and centering issues in the past. So this year we're crossing our fingers that Upper Deck has made some improvements with centering. Surface issues are harder to control with a product like this that has chrome cards. You'll see the same surface issues with products like Topps Chrome and Panini Prizm. It's kind of just the nature of the product itself. So all you can really do is cross your fingers that there isn't many surface issues in your box.

Thank you! We don't open older boxes often, but we have had a good time when we do it. Our most recent open was 2002 Private Stock Titanium, and it was amazing. We're definitely considering doing it more often. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊

Yea the matte pinks are supposed to have that brushed metal look. I think they did much better with QC this year, 2021-22 is almost unrippable because of the issues lol

Even though Price is part a small pc I have of him I can't understand why he is still in product, he's been out of the league since 21/22. The centering and coloring are much better this year.Nice box rip forsure! Nice black pack as well. Chris definitely had the better packs.
Yeah, we thought it was weird Price was in this product lol. Upper Deck had way better QC this year. We got 1 more black pack to open in our next video! Thanks a lot 😊

It's really unfortunate that this is how they do things nowadays. So many products could benefit by having an additional auto/mem pull. But you're right, its all about maximizing profit. Thanks for commenting 😊
