    What is this “blue rouge” that you speak of and where can I get some as well as that large, curved rideline stone?

    Can you go over equipment needed to start?? My sharpener charges over $230 for 5shears5blades....90% of the time my shears go out on day 3or4 and I have to get them sharpened every 2 months ....

    Hi Jeff,
    Firstly many thanks for a great in-depth and knowledgeable video, I’ve seen quite a few and I have to say I’ve learnt a lot more from watching you. 👍.
    I would like to know also what flat hone machine to get that I can freehand on. ?? What machine do you use in the video, Many thanks Adrian.

    Has anyone used the flat side of the 16" clipper sharpener with hook and loop sandpaper somehow to sharpen scissors? I'm looking into buying an arm with convex clamp to try.

    I notice a serration on the bottom blade (Geib gators) when sharpening I assume these serrations will be ground off.
    Is this a problem or do you need to add them back?

    Very much 'Insight' !, thank you. There's a lot more to grooming than hair shaping ! I learned a lot more about sharpening than I ever would have if I had not digested your presentation. Thank you for your insight & experience ! 😀

    Hi Great video. Can you tell me what machine with the 2 disks on are you using ? Thanks

    I looked up how to sharpen scissors because I was told that it's kind of a secret, doesn't look very secretive to me haha

    • @NorthernTailsSharpening
      @NorthernTailsSharpening  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not secretive. Just harder than it looks. Shears get bent, dinged up and all sorts of things. If not trained on how to fix and what to look for you can really mess up someone’s expensive shear.

      @@NorthernTailsSharpening that makes sense, this doesn’t look like something that just anyone could do for sure!

    I'd like to get equipment names & costs ( rotary cutter fr the sheer edges ) and the benders !
