I have heard and seen this video over and over again and wlll keep doing so for many years. None but a lonely heart is a wonderful song with a perfect melody and a harmony to match. The ease with which the ending recalls and mixes with the beginning has fascinated and bewildered me for decades. This arrangement for a men´s chorus adds new voices that enhance the harmony, the melody and the overall feeling. Thank you for this memorable performance.

Grazie mille. I suoi ricordi sono legati al nostro coro o a quest'opera di Tchaikovsky?

This is the most beautiful choral piece I have ever heard, and I've been singing in choirs for over fifty-five years.

Ohh, what a heartbreaking beautifull arrangement. Thank you so much Nadezhda Malyavina!! To arrange this song for a mens' chorus is in my opinion a proof of a sensitive, good taste and respect for Tschaikovsky. Especially this song, when we see it in the light of Tschaikovsky's personal live history. He chose Goethe's text on purpose. What you have done is unique, you should publish the arrangement so other choirs can sing it too.
Big compliments for your most excellent choir. Their voices achieve to go straight to ones heart. Spassiba!!!

I recorded this performance onto my iPod a couple of years ago so I could listen to it in my car. I love this performance and arrangement so much. And today i have stumbled across the video again and rewatched it and was struck how much the conductress took on the appearance of a magician waving a wand and creating such magical music.

Students as well as former students. Including some former Music students (our conductor and our accompanist)-you see what they could do with both the Tchaikovsky's song and the multitude of singing physicists. :)
