Sonny, PLEASE mod that K20a2!! It is such a great motor and needs some love! But I guess if your just trying to keep it as a slammed daily you dont need it to be fast, but even something as simple as upgrading the intake manifold and getting it tuned can give you a lot of gains.. Mine is at 240whp and 175tq from just bolt ons and a ported RBC manifold and throttle body. I can easily take STI's and Evo's in stock form. Love the top-end power I get from the RBC.
one thing I do is I slow down a little early if there are other cars behind me bc I can't do it too quick and slam the car on the ground or bc I don't wanna be hit from behind either.

I hit a big ass rock in the middle on the road last week, ripped my lip right off. Didn’t have time to see it as a lifted truck went right over it in front of me and didn’t have enough space to swerve. Moral of the story always keep a decent distance just in case you have to dodge something. I didn’t have much of space as we were barely leaving the intersection so cars were still close to each other. Hope it helps

My car is no where near the height of your car I have like 3 inches of clearance but I always back into parks so I won’t hit my splitter and avoid speed bumps/humps when I’m in certain parking lots and roads I know that are really shitty it’s my daily driver so you just gotta learn to adapt and maneuver and be aware of your surroundings. There’s been times I couldn’t go over speed bumps at all and I just reverse it all the way back like you said and have everyone stare at me and ask me why would I want my car that low and my reply is “Liiiiiifestyle”

For me, the best place to get parts is Kseriesparts.com.. They have the best reputation and guarantee all their stuff. You get what you pay for every time and if you are a return customer you get good discounts. I just got my BC coilovers from them for $800, which is almost $200 savings.. Had 20% off.

When I slammed mine it actually was slower than my mom's prius. I couldnt get traction cuz of the camber and my turning/handling was awful. I wish Sonny would just keep the RSX a little low with mild camber and mod that awesome K20a2... maybe boost it.. I have 2 Type-S an 04 and an 06 and my 04 is running a Side-winder turbo setup and is pushing 360whp on stock internals now for 3 years. Thing is a beast and so much fun to drive and also so reliable.
