It cost ER $33k to help make the young-man famous. He was an excellent straightforward player wh couldn't deal with the deep experience ER had with end of closing match nasty-leaves that had to be kicked at, made, turned into good leave, or buried again--just the way the young-shooter found it before shooting. He couldn't do those things at the end, he didn't have the skills. Something with ER's strategy for winning the match went very wrong around 4:05 when he missed the complicated, but not for ER, combo kiss on the 10 ball.

got under ER's skin. Stood face to face with ER so ER couldn't shoot, stood behind him so contact would get made with him on ER's backswing at critical moments. He'd yell loud outbursts and flail his arms in ER's field of vision.
