One of my favourites that I used to play, in fact the other day my daughter posted a video of me on Facebook playing after I hadn’t been on the piano for ages, certainly a bit rusty and struggling to find the right keys, but I loved the crescendo, putting a bit of force into the tune. I think it really helps me to notify those notes that have been playing repeats over and over again as I am having a difficulty of remember them. I have never attended a class as lessons are expensive, I self taught my self by selecting the sound tracks I love. I join in a Piano lover club and got some advice of using pedal a bit longer. The trick was that, no-one tells me which part?????. I stick with an idiom: " Practice makes perfect!". I personally love piano when I was a kid all the way to teenage. I really wanted to learn music. However, the entry for an university was out of my thinking with so high score, plus I was grown up in a small town in North East Vietnam where music instruments were not really popular, I always admired people who can play instrument(s). I spent quite a lot of time with my mum to listen and watch many TV programmes about my country's traditional instrument band who went round some part of the world, included Europe for their performances. My mum would love me to play one of the traditional music instrument called: Guzheng in Chinese language which is a kind of 36 strings instrument as it sounds like guitar's strings. However, I felt in love in Piano instead when I became young adult as I found the sound of piano are great, plus it can go solo / alone on it own and it is so relaxing. I spent quite a bit of money buying CD discs of piano or guitar instrument sound tracks to listen to after work and when I was studying. I was always curios to find out how does a piano works and how to play it. Having a piano was something a bit more luxury in my life at that time, plus lessons are always expensive to carry on for a long time. I only went back to my dream when I came to England when I found that small electric pianos here are not expensive, however, owning a proper manual piano is one of my desire. I went for a hunt around my current living place in shops, finally I found my one about 3 years ago, and that when I started. I am still a young face in this new challenges, but will definitely carry on learning how to play it. My daughter now wanted to learn how to play piano with her favourite song in one of a Disney film too, so it is my challenges about notes too. That is why I think starting myself in beginner level for notes is a good start. I started to learn the first part of the Love Story already last night. It was great sound following your arrangement. I am glad I found it and thankful for your work and post it on the internet.

@@antonioromopiano I set my challenge now is to try to look at the sheet and try to learn to read them as I play along to cover my weak point in music language as I learn in my own way - practice first then theory later. I found opposite way is harder. I rather enjoy the sound track first before digging my head in theory. 😘.
I love this song and improvise around it often. I first played this when I was around 23, about when the movie came out. I think right after I bought a new Yamaha upright when I lived in N. VA My employer moved it around the US 3 times, but it still keeps its tune. Finding a decent piano tuner is not as easy as it used to be. I had it tuned about six months ago when my profile picture was taken. It doesn't have the sparkle it once did but neither do my ears :) Sorry I didn't connect your name with our previous conversation about where you lived. I remembered right after making the comment today.
No problem, Frank. I don't have a very good memory either. :) Yes, this is one of the very first pieces I was able to play when I was a kid! I did this arrangement when I was in high school. I was playing a lot of Richard Clayderman stuff back then, haha!

I worked it out the patterns of some notes on the left hand that are the same with the right hand but in lower pitches.🎹 And I am so happy that I am nearly finish it now. Just need to practice the new also the last music bar number 42 then I am done. I don't think I can play in the same speed as yours one, I prefer it a bit slower that fit my hearing and feeling as I sing along the vocal when practicing. Thank you so much for sharing your work! Good evening, Antonio! Hope you are keeping well and hope your hand and arm have healed from the accident. Thank you so much for helping finding the chords for the famous love song that I like: Kong Gang - Airport. I just don't understand why in many guitars cover, the song is called Empty Seaport. After many days of research, and I remembered there is a version of the song in my language: Vietnamese which I found the Vietnamese lyrics of the song that I know and sang when I was much younger it was hard as I was not paid attention to the title of the song, I am happy that I found it now in my language. There is a challenge that I am working on is that I am trying to work out what are all the notes look like on a sheet of music and hopefully when I have finished decoded on the keys, I am able to play on the piano (with hope I get the notes correctly though as I have never decoded this way before 🤣🤣😂😂. I am sure I will make plenty of mistakes without knowing them.

Thank you for the video, i am trying to learn this song, but i am really struggling with moving my left hand between the C note and then back to the A note 😢 any tips on how to improve this?
I'm not sure where exactly you are having this problem. My best advice is to practice your left hand alone for those parts where you are struggling. Go slow at first (extra slow if needed) and start speeding up as you feel more confident. Keep it up! Hope you have a wonderful week! 😊🎹
Dear Antonio, hope you are keeping well! I am recently quite busy with work and trying to teach my daughter to read piano notes and practice skill. Bless her, she nearly finishes one of her sound track for her music exam. I got two more pieces of music to go with her. However, I personally found one of my favourite sound track called "Empty seaport" which I found that it is only available to hear on guitar as I always listened to guitar soundtracks as well when I was a little girl toward my young adult hood. When I tried to find the piano version of this sound track as I have done quite a few researches and it turned out it is impossible to find piano version of this sound track. I just wonder if you can take my request to arrange this sound track on piano solo? I would love to learn it from your tutorial as it is easy to understand and play. In my personal view, I can take up the challenges around intermediate level or more. Let me know what do you think about my request! Thanks in advance! And please do keep up with your great work! I hope the healing progress is doing well and fast for you! I understand how you feel when things got delayed unexpectedly. Same thing with me, too. My setting manager wanted to promote myself to be one of her room manager in the setting which also mean that I am working closely to the management team as I would be part of their rather than being one of their high quality and trusted and flexible staff. However, I must say no for now due to my girl who is learning progressing herself with 11+ works, piano work for one of the best secondary school in town, and so as my diploma which hopefully starting at beginning of January next year. I am in the process of paper work and agreement to get through the starting part of the course. It is too much going on and I am unable to do much. I have checked the name of the sound track as well, and you are right about it. Last night, I found some piano chords to play along that sound track but not a sheet which also means that I can play the chords, however, I need to find the notes. Everything I need is time which I don't seem to have in order to practice as well as getting them to look familiar to myself. Will have to see how does thing go. I'm not sure where exactly you are having this problem. My best advice is to practice your left hand alone for those parts where you are struggling. Go slow at first (extra slow if needed) and start speeding up as you feel more confident. Keep it up! Hope you have a wonderful week! 😊🎹

Dear Antonio, hope you are keeping well! I am recently quite busy with work and trying to teach my daughter to read piano notes and practice skill. Bless her, she nearly finishes one of her sound track for her music exam. I got two more pieces of music to go with her. However, I personally found one of my favourite sound track called "Empty seaport" which I found that it is only available to hear on guitar as I always listened to guitar soundtracks as well when I was a little girl toward my young adult hood. When I tried to find the piano version of this sound track as I have done quite a few researches and it turned out it is impossible to find piano version of this sound track. I just wonder if you can take my request to arrange this sound track on piano solo? I would love to learn it from your tutorial as it is easy to understand and play. In my personal view, I can take up the challenges around intermediate level or more. Let me know what do you think about my request! Thanks in advance! And please do keep up with your great work! Hello! I'm glad your daughter is practicing and learning new things on the piano. I found the following link with an easy to follow tutorial with the chords for that song. I believe it is also known with a different name (Airport). I had a bad accident three weeks ago and I'm still recovering. I haven't been able to do much with my music and I'm behind with many projects. I hope this helps for now. 😊🎹

I hope the healing progress is doing well and fast for you! I understand how you feel when things got delayed unexpectedly. Same thing with me, too. My setting manager wanted to promote myself to be one of her room manager in the setting which also mean that I am working closely to the management team as I would be part of their rather than being one of their high quality and trusted and flexible staff. However, I must say no for now due to my girl who is learning progressing herself with 11+ works, piano work for one of the best secondary school in town, and so as my diploma which hopefully starting at beginning of January next year. I am in the process of paper work and agreement to get through the starting part of the course. It is too much going on and I am unable to do much.
I have checked the name of the sound track as well, and you are right about it. Last night, I found some piano chords to play along that sound track but not a sheet which also means that I can play the chords, however, I need to find the notes. Everything I need is time which I don't seem to have in order to practice as well as getting them to look familiar to myself. Will have to see how does thing go.
