As God, why did Jesus Christ pray on Earth?

Jesus Christ came to become a servant on earth and gave up His heavenly glory (Philippians 2:5-11). He prayed to His heavenly Father for power (John 11:41-42) and wisdom (Mark 1:35, 6:46). He showed His dependence upon His Father in His humanity to carry out His Father’s will and the redemption plan (John 17).
Jesus Christ's praying to the Father was an example of His relationship in the Trinity. We should follow this example that we must rely on God through prayer for the strength and wisdom we need.
