  • In this video, I review the new 'Leprous' album, Melodies of Atonement. As a first-time listener, I’m blown away by the band’s stunning mix of contemporary rock and their fearless approach to music. Vocalist Einar Solberg truly stands out with his powerful, emotional delivery and impressive falsetto range. This album, recorded with top-tier production by David Castillo, showcases Leprous at their best, blending passion and precision. Watch my full review and hear why this album is one of 2024's must-listens!
Thank you for all your support
    Phil

Great review Phil of a great album. Loved your enthusiasm and description of “riffs just hanging in space.” Perfect description! If you can get to interview the band I’ll be looking forward to seeing that video for sure. Keep it up my friend.

    Hi Phil
I have heard their name and lots of people posting their music .
I knew they were Norwegian progressive metal.
Decided to take the plunge and ordered cd arriving today.
    Looking forward to it.
    Have a fantastic weekend.
    Cheers

Phil, you definitely need to listen to Malina, amazing album.
Would love a NSM video where you talk about Sony’s $400m procurement of Pink Floyd’s catalogue and your interpretation of what that means for us as fans. And your thoughts on artists selling their likeness and rights in general.

Bring back early Leprous with more guitar and bass combinations.

Great review. its a very different modern progressive rock album without much in the way of guitar solos and furious drumming. I'm still trying to get used to it. It will take a few listens.
