The issue isn't the lack of developers with "deep pockets". The issue is that with the city's leadership, there's no incentive to build in STL. City leaders have completely abandoned the people, taxpayers, employers, and families. There's a reason why STL is the perfect example of "the donut effect". We WANT to be a part of STL, we just want to stay out of reach of STL's crooked leaders, taxes, and crime.

The crime is what keeps us away from that area.

What area does crime keep you away from? There's areas of North St. Louis that are safer than mid St. Louis County.

Heck just cleaning it up would help. You come across any of those bridges, look around, its a dump. Junk and trash every where. Have some pride STL

Look to the right side of the screen @ 2:51, that type of influence is one of the biggest problems.

The riverfront is industrial and St. Louis will thrive once America stops outsourcing its manufacturing to child labor in China and bring manufacturing back to major our major river terminal on the Mississippi which is what built our city and the middle class to begin with

Let's fight for an NBA team and start building up the neighborhood!

As much as I would love to have an NBA team in St. Louis, that wouldn't help the North Riverfront. An NBA team would most likely play at Enterprise Center.

No legitimate team will ever even think about coming here again
