I disagree, firstly if you just listen to the original it doesn't sound like the G chord switches over to a G7, secondly you end up clashing with the singer who is singing a G note while the G7 chord is highlighting the F and it just sounds terrible. But we can certainly agree to disagree. Thanks for the message.
