    Tiff is my favorite presenter.. You looks like a silly unassuming British man, then he gets behind the wheel and tears it up!!

    964 & 993 forever the best.

    Absolutely agree!
    The 964 incorporated the classic original 911 body and frog lights, but with modernized plastic bumper covers to match the vehicle and complete the look. Its a perfect balace of original and modern.
    It must be said, the 993's & beyond (minus elements of the 996) are supreme in almost every way, and are incomparable...But the 965 (964 Turbo) is my choice as the perfect 911 to dream about!

    I think that the reason was Teff, because he was a Professional driver and he talk about engines and how fast can be, he doesn't spend time talking in secondary things.

    As an avid Porsche owner myself, I tend to find that the front of the car bops around alot on uneven surfaces, especially when the fuel tank is low, which is expected in a rear engined car but with 4WD there is less bopping due to the weight of the front differential. My first 911 was a 996 GT3 and at the beginning I did not like it but I got used to it over time. Totally different animal over a front engined car.

    Porsche 911 Turbo... MPG-25.9.
    So the much more powerful turbo got better gas mileage??

    You are definitely wrong about the 964, actually their prices start to rise especially the turbo's you can't get to them, they are so expensive! You are right about the first generation water cooled ones though.

    Porsche is just about the only company left that makes proper cars. If anyone says they will take this over a 997 turbo, has never driven either. Porsche only innovates, if it's not better, they won't put it on their cars.

  • @MagicAyrtonforever

  • @1954telecaster

    great handling car but it cannot do 175mph, regardless of what the speedo says, it's simply not aerodynamic enough.

    • @rollingartmotorsports848
      @rollingartmotorsports848 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      And you are so very wrong as the car can do that speed, been proven many times. The Porsche Ruf Yellowbird CTR can do over 200mph, also proven.

    • @1954telecaster
      @1954telecaster 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mick K ok but obviously that's heavily modified, this is stock...the speedo might say 175 but in reality it's not going that fast (source: I used to own one)

    • @66ott7
      @66ott7 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Porsche is and always has been the top performing car ever since the 60's. The 911, year after year outperforms its rivals in trial testing. The 911 GT3 Rs has been the best car in the last decade. Decisively.

    • @1954telecaster
      @1954telecaster 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      66ott7 I totally agree! you're preachin to the choir here buddy, I'm a lifelong Porsche fanboy I just think the turbos are overrated and overpriced

  • @johnnycanada
    @johnnycanada 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    The 964 was a great car plagued with poor aesthetics. As a result, it suffers the lowest re-sale prices of any 911. Porsche screws-up every few years. Anyone watching the depreciation of the early water-cooled 911’s with those ugly headlights (already being called the “lost generation”)? Excellence was expected....

  • @MagicAyrtonforever
    @MagicAyrtonforever 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Most of the new ones, they have lost a lot of their old charm.

    the 993 is way uglier than the 964!!! the 964 series is my favorite 911 together with the first 997
